Summary: Very disappointed. Waited for a long time to check in as there was no one at the desk nor was there a bell to ring. The air con didn't work as the reception was manually controlling it. When reported, they only switched it on for an hour. With 30 degrees outside, I didn't sleep much at night. There was no sheet on the bed, only a mattress protector. Booked a superior room to ensure all is included, but still, there was no iron or hairdryer. Absolutely disappointed and will not be returning.

Summary: The room would be nice. Unfortunately they were having an event with very loud music the whole evening till midnight. That prevented me from having a relaxing stay there. Therefore I can’t recommend this place.

Summary: Always use the Grange when in the area. Local to Silchester where we visit. Comfortable bed and clean room. Staff friendly and keen to help (i use a walking stick). Reasonable room rate. Lovely breakfast.

Summary: Stayed 1 night. Lovely comfortable bed and clean room. Bathroom was modern with a spacious easy to walk in shower. All the team were friendly and helpful. They were managing a large birthday party in the main function room as well as our family meal for 11. Food was excellent. And the service was very attentive. Hotel is quiet and has plenty of free guest parking. As with many venues, it is card only. Would definitely recommend, and use again in the future.

Summary: Nice lobby and grounds outside. Car park is decent size. No ramp for disabled people - have to climb several steps with suitcases, not suitable for wheelchair users. Rooms are a decent size, bathroom decent size. Beds not very comfy, one of our twin beds sloped sideways so you kept falling out of it. Room for extremely hot and no air conditioning which we didn’t think would be an issue in April. Over all decent but wouldn’t stay again

Summary: Not a good stay in first room as smelly, something like cigarettes. Reception staff knocked on door 5 minutes after going innthe room asking if okay, they agreed the room did have a smell and was moved. The next room had a generator room on the other side of the wall that kept going off and was noisy, reported to reception and moved yet again to a ground floor room. Unfortunately about 15 minutes later a generator right outside the room kicked in and thought this would be noisy throughout the night and would wake me up, i then went back to reception again and told them of the problem and wanted a room without these issues. I was then told the only room available was the first room that had the smell and they can look at giving me another room the following day, the only good news was that i diid get a better room the next day which was okay. Not a great experience in having to change rooms so many times in one evening, complaint raised and not resolved as the hotel seems to think it was accepted to change rooms so many times. I won't be staying here again.
