Positive: The host was very helpful and kind. Good value for money and had everything a B&B should have. Breakfast was fairly standard, and was self catered meaning we didnt need to be up at a certain time to have breakfast. The host cleaned everyday. The location was a 7 minute walk into downtown, but did mean going up and down a steep hill in icy conditions (we visited in March 25).
Negative: The advertised kitchenette was rather limited (we were travelling for a month so wanted to cook our own meals rather than eating out everyday) with just a microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. There was a lot of noise coming from upstairs and all the pipes, which you can't help but worth commenting on if you are a light sleeper. The mountain view was only visible from the shared common room or balcony to get into the B&B - there was no view from the bedroom.

Positive: The location was fantastic. An east walk to town, to Tunnel Mountain hike and to the Banff Centre. Continental breakfast supplies were in the unit.
Negative: It would have been nice to know ahead of time that there was only a microwave for cooking, no cooking surface.

Positive: Superb clean well located apartment in the pretty town of Banff. Excellent host. Perfect for a family of 4 with great lounge and kitchen area, with breakfast provided, personal parking spot and easy walk to the town centre, we loved it

Positive: We arrived early and the owner let us check in. Close to the town center yet quiet location with parking spaces. Provided many local information and a bear spray in the room. Kitchen has a full size fridge and we kept our food we purchased from several local markets. Had Kurog coffee maker with our favorite Costco coffee pods. Comfortable beds. Nice thick bath towels. Great place for two couples to share kitchen and living room.
Negative: Stayed 3 nights but chose not to pay $25 for towel changes. We prefer thinner towels that are changed daily or after 2 days of stay. But I understand that washing and drying nice thick towels cost more…. Very minor issues - the toilet paper holder was broken. I had to twist my body to grab the toilet paper on the tank. Shampoo etc. were on the floor. The shower head is too high to hang rack to keep bottles. Had to bend down to grab shampoo, conditioner, and soap while showering. Again, not a major issue but a room to improve to make the special place even better.
