Positive: Came to New Orleans for the superbowl. The location was perfect because it was far enough away from the action to have a good night's sleep but still close enough to downtown for a quick 10-minute drive to the French Quarters. If you're up for the challenge, you could even walk for ~30-40 minutes. The apartment was clean, the host was accommodating, and the cost was affordable. This was one of the only places that didn't charge outrageous prices, and we are grateful for that.
Negative: We had minor issues with the air conditioner. It made noises continuously and didn't regularly click on even though we had it on auto. The house is old, therefore, the insulation wasn't that great. We are not used to the heat, so it got a bit uncomfortable for us throughout the night. If you're from a warm region, it may not bother you at all. Once again, this was a minor issue. Overall, we had a great stay.
