Positive: The shower was powerful, beds were comfortable the kitchen seemed quite well equipped but we didn’t use it.
Negative: Parking was a bit of a nightmare as the bays are residential 8am-10pm, the area in general wasn’t very nice, dirty with an Asian majority which isn’t an issue but eating out can be.
Summary: A cheaper alternative to a hotel but choose wisely.

Positive: The place is a 2 minute walk from shops and the bus station, which is quite helpful especially for solo female travellers. In a quiet neighbourhood as well so perfect for those who don't like noise.

Positive: The beds were comfortable, sheets and bedding clean. Kitchen was tight but had all the amenities. The living room was fine but could not accommodate 4 people if they were staying here. We were 3 so it was fine. There was a Tesco express at the top of the road so that was very convenient; as well there were lots of restaurants within a short walking distance.
Negative: The location was far from the centre, in a depressed neighborhood but we had no issues here. It was quiet at night. It was difficult to find the lockbox; then we had to figure out which one worked. When we got in, we couldn't figure out the wifi or where the pw was. Also, there was no hot water on in the house. This was not a good start. After messaging the SSW, we didn't hear anything until the morning. We managed to figure out how to turn on the boiler but had no clue about the various dials to regulate temperatures. Then we realized the cold water control on the shower was broken which resulted in a scalding hot shower. After 2 days of back and forth with the property mgmt., they finally sent someone to look at it. It was indeed broken. Previous occupants didn't report it. The maintenance guy regulated the hot water for us so we could actually take a proper shower. Not impressed by this company. Would not stay at any of their properties. They are not well cleaned. There was mold on the shower ceiling and some surfaces were sticky. This place needs a real deep cleaning. Also, the back bedroom had nowhere to hang or place clothes. The outlets weren't close to a mirror for drying hair. Not well laid out for women's use. There were no coffee pods available for the single use machine. Only 1 tea towel was provided for a 5 night stay. Also, no napkins or tissues or paper towel was provided. Very stingy for what they're charging. Having said this, we managed to get out and enjoy our stay.

Positive: Great location & the kitchen was well equipped. The property was very clean.
Negative: When we arrived the combination that we were given for the key box was incorrect. This delayed our entrance to the property as it took numerous phone calls before we could speak to someone to confirm the code. The instructions re parking are very unclear. The house does not come with a permit so you have to park in unzoned spaces. We tried calling the property helpline to confirm where the unzoned spaces were but no one answered. It was only through talking to a neighbour that we worked it out & ended up parking a few streets away. The remote controls for the tv were also missing which was frustrating.
Summary: Great location & a nice house but a few things as outlined above were disappointing.

Positive: Very beautiful townhouse. The check-in experience is very good, and the staff are warm and patient. It was a little cold a few days ago, but the staff patiently taught me to turn on the heating. Thank you very much.

Positive: Location was great, right next to my son in Roath and there was a Tesco Express and plenty of local restaurants within walking distance.
Negative: The only bathroom facilities are down stairs and both bedrooms are upstairs .
Summary: Cosy house in good location for visiting. Approx. 10 mins/ £7 in an Uber from town centre. Quiet residential street

Positive: Close to town so very convenient. It was clean and comfortable.
Negative: More cutlery would be useful. 3 forks and 1 butter knife is insufficient. A clothes rail (to hang clothes) and a bin in the second bedroom would also be great. Maybe think about providing a booklet with information about the house - what to do with bins, how to access Netflix, how to access the internet, how to work the heating. Fresh towels for stays over 3 nights would be brilliant.
