1 Bedroom Apartment in Downtown, Raleigh

This is short-term model and we are set-up to rent for a 2-night maximum. If you would like to stay longer, we would charge an additional $50 per nite over 2-nights. We will however provide a clean-up and fresh towels for you after 2-days time.
This Studio is a pretty new space on the 1st floor of our townhouse. It has it's own private entrance which will only be used by our guests. Colette and I love to travel and the over-all bedding comfort is at the top of our list. We got turned onto Cozy Earth bedding, which offers the most comfy sleeping experience that we have found. The pillows are pretty comfy too.
The Studio has lots of lights all on dimmers and a 9' ceiling. The Studio has a patio looking out onto a landscaped courtyard with comfortable chairs and over-head fan and mood lighting to help you enjoy happy hours or whatever hours. The studio has a full kitchenette including micro, fridge, toaster oven, filtered water, and also a Nespresso maker with fresh cream and an assortment of teas. We also have 2-bikes that we will loan to our guests so you can enjoy the North Person Street Corridor and downtown Raleigh, which is less than a mile away. We are 2 blocks from the free R-LINE bus which cycles thru every 15 minutes from 7 am to 11 pm and takes you thru downtown Raleigh and back. The city also has Lime bikes and Gotcha electric scooters. You can pick up an Uber or Lyft usually with less than a 5-minute wait.
This unit has a 55' Smart Roku TV with a Samsung sound bar complete with subwoofer. We provide the major channels, like Netflix, Starz, Showtime, HBO, Amazon Prime, and too many more. The Pandora and YouTube are with out commercials. Access Google to find what stations are offered thru Spectrum. For example, Showtime is channel 550 in the guide. NFL is 310 and 13.
We often find that people leave early, if that is the case and you would like to get in early, say 10:ish or so, we will work with you.
We have had a few other VRBO units over the years and had the distinction of being the No. 1 rated short-term rental properties out of 466 in this area in the past. We also have 2 other properties currently being offered thru the VRBO site. Looking at these other properties, you should be able to get the flavor of what you might experience from our hosting style while staying at our "New Downtown Studio".
"Service animals" that are hypo-allergenic and smaller than 15 lbs. are OK, but no cats, I have an allergy to most dogs, i.e, German Shepherds, Retreivers, Labs, so those types of dogs are not allowed in our properties. Because of my allergies, I am exempt to the service dog rule that says anybody with a service animal can bring their pets into a property. I have covered this with VRBO and they have granted me a pass because of this affliction.
All eligible people, from everywhere are welcome in our property.

Summary: The unit was clean, appliances were really modern, the bathroom was stocked with high-quality toiletries - it was clear that the host cares a lot about the people who rent this space. The host was also very communicative and helpful. Couldn’t have had a better stay!

Summary: This was the first step of a driving tour of the South, to celebrate my retirement later this year. The unit was just as promised and the perfect amount of space for a solo traveler or couple. The bed was comfortable, with soft linens. The bathroom had a very fancy toilet, with a seat warmer and dual purpose as a bidet. The shower had good water pressure and was stocked with quality toiletries. The kitchenette came with a microwave, toaster oven, sink, basic dishes/utensils (including wine opener, wine glasses),a small fridge and Nespresso coffee maker. There is a large television with a plethora of channels. There is an abundance of plugs and USB ports in the unit. There is a small sitting porch with chairs and a ceiling fan, plus two bikes for personal use. The location is walking distance to downtown, though we drove mostly due to the wet weather while we were there (parking appears to be free on the weekends though). There is free street parking by the unit. We hit a snag getting my personal code to work to open the door, but Tom was very responsive and quickly corrected the issue. He also offered helpful recommendations during our stay. The cost of the unit was very affordable for the location. My only complaint was the room got just a little warm, but nothing that a small ceiling fan couldn’t address. I highly recommend this studio for a stay in Raleigh!

Summary: I got this place for my parents who are traveling to the area for medical stuff. The host Tom was extremely accommodating and very kind to my parents once they arrived. My folks slept very comfortably in the studio apartment and were so glad to have a nice neighborhood to walk their doggie in. Highly recommend!! Summary: The location is perfect, close to downtown and within walking distance of great restaurants. Street parking was never a problem. The owners thought of everything for our convenience and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again when we visit Raleigh.

Summary: We went into Raleigh to meet up with family nearby on our way to New Bern. We were excited to stay in this studio because it looked great. We were NOT disappointed. Everything was so well thought out. The host was very communicative and was a gracious host. The property was exceptionally clean and the amenities were as listed. They even had coffee and fresh cream for us! We would 100% stay there again when we visit Raleigh. Probably one of the best stays we've had. Would have loved to stay longer!!
