Positive: The layout was great, allowing for independent sleeping arrangements, breakfast gatherings and evening discussions. The pebble beach allowed for sunset watching and morning and evening swims. The house fans really provided a breeze relief from heat of the afternoon. It was good to deal with the potable water.. increased our awareness of water conservation.
Negative: The beds were too soft and to be honest too many mosquitoes.
Summary: A delightful beach house with access to local beach and neighborhood living.

Positive: For what you are receiving, it is a good value. It was spacious and comfortable enough for our group (5) and we had all of the kitchen appliances, cooking equipment, bath amenities and linens we needed. WiFi service was excellent with no interruptions. All that was needed was our own food. Everything else was there. View of the ocean is available from all main floor rooms and was wonderful. We were there during whale migration and could see whales and hear them spouting from in the house.
Negative: It states it is 3 bedroom. Two bedrooms are in the main level of the house, but one bedroom is below the main part of the house (which the manual calls a "studio"). For context, the house is on a sloping lot so there is naturally a space under the house and there is nothing wrong with the bedroom, or that it is below the main floor per se, or the size of the bedroom, which is generous. However, the main floor of the house can only be accessed from that bedroom by going outside and walking around and up to the front door. Not told until receiving a manual by E Mail the week before that the water isn't drinkable (cooking, cleaning and toothbrush only) and the trash has to be taken by the guest 5 miles away to a waste center. Was not an issue once known and are prepared for it, but these things should be disclosed before you book and not when the manual is received after the cancellation date has passed if it doesn't work for you. The manual (which was informative and for the most part helpful in making the stay more comfortable) states, in regular type and in a paragraph in a middle page of the 8-page manual, that the showers are slippery. Didn't see that until I went looking in the manual after I slipped and fell the first day and broke my small toe. However, if it is known to be slippery, given the risk of injury, there should be a warning in the bathroom and the manual warning is insufficient, and is why I raise this matter. The whole floor should be made skid resistant rather than relying on what is maybe an 18" x 30" "rubber" bathmat to stand on (which was hanging on a wall bar on the far wall in the shower when I entered) covering maybe 20% of the total shower floor of what is otherwise a nicely large shower. You still have to make certain you make only small turning steps on the mat and do not step off of it onto the tile.
Summary: Good value for the money, but could be made better.
