Welcome to my Hotel studio unit at Kauai Beach Resort ( Originally Hilton) ! This unit is on the 2nd floor of Building 1 on the side that is filled with great lagoon view and blended with greens right under your feet.
Kauai Beach Resort set on 25 lush acres on Kauai’s longest beach and is centrally located on the east shore of Kauai, about half way between the north and south shores. It is only 3 miles away from airport.
PRICE includes complimentary prepaid RESORT PASS and check out cleaning fee, includes access to all the facilities except not Cultural activities like, lei making class and hula lessons.
Another reminder: parking is not included in the room rate. $40 per day parking fee if you have a car. Paying for parking is extremely common at most Hawaii resorts.

-4 swimming pools, including 2 lagoon pools, 75-ft lava tube slide, & kid-friendly pool with sand bottom
-Two whirlpool spas, one amidst a stone grotto and surrounded by lush ferns and an exotic waterfall
-Three restaurants offer a large variety of dining options
-Fitness center on property, use included in resort fee, use your room key to enter the facility.
-Coin-laundromat on property in Building #1.
-There is an outdoor shower conveniently located near jacuzzi , Thank you for rinsing off the sand before returning to your room.

-There is no daily maid service. Please contact me if you need mid clean, $65 full service. $25 trash removal and towel exchange.

-Renting car from airport is very convenient. But you better book it online before your arrival.

Summary: Felt like bare minimum cleaning and maintenance was done to the property. First off the duvet/blanket was sticky. I understand cleaning the bed sheet and top sheet is likely the minimum requirement for an vrbo but a sticky duvet? Come on. We didn't even want to lie down on the bed with the duvet on and we ended up sleeping in our sweatshirts. This goes on... we see dead cockroach in the bathroom. The daybed was also dirty. The wood sunshade, which also function as a curtain, makes huge annoying sound when moved. Most furnitures look like they are from good will. We end up not spending much time in the room because of its condition. Last but not least the door broke 4 times on us. Each of the time we had to wait ~20mins for resort security to come to replace the battery, and they ended up replacing the lock as a whole. Texted owner and got no text back. The only nice thing about the room is the resort poor outside and close proximity to the beach.

Summary: Booking this stay on Vrbo was one of the best decisions we made for the trip. The property is part of a beautiful resort, right at the beach. There are numerous pools, water slides, hot tubs for finding relaxing moment during the trip. Highly recommend.

Summary: The location of the resort was perfect for us. Its central location allowed for easy exploration of the island. It’s close to the airport and I worried about noise, but it was not a problem. The resort is very nice and well kept, but did show some of its age. I believe Outrigger will completely refresh its look very quickly. We ate two meals in the bar and one from the pool bar. They were “island expensive “ but not anymore than any of the other restaurants we dined at. The food was good and our waitress was excellent both times in the bar. Wish I could remember her name. The actual rooms seem to fall into two categories: privately owned or resort owned. Our room is privately owned. While the room was dated, it was generally clean and comfortable with two minor exceptions and one that truly needs attention. The minor exceptions were some lipstick on one of the plastic drinking cups and the other was a small mess left in the refrigerator. The issue that truly needs addressing is the rusted door frame that greats you. After a couple of uses we began noticing a brown smear appearing on some of our clothing when ever we happened to brush up against the door frame. Be very careful using the door. Lastly the grounds were beautiful and the pools were of equal beauty. Unfortunately our weather wasn’t overly warm and the pools do not appear to be heated. Other people could use them but a little below my comfort level. Overall I would stay here again!

Summary: The room is located in the Outrigger Resort which has a beautiful multi-pool complex with ample seating. You can walk out of your room and up to the beach every morning to watch the sunrise and do morning yoga. The resort has dining, a Starbucks cafe and a nice bar/lounge. The room is older - as we expected from past reviews. My emails to the owner about getting new towels for the property were answered promptly. This area of Kauai is centrally located to go everywhere on the island!

Summary: Very much enjoyed KBR. Hot tubs, pools, nice beach, food/bar is good. The room was nice and what we wanted: modest, had a fridge, decent bed, and balcony. The room is owned privately and didn’t have the same upkeep as the other rooms but don’t let that get in the way. For us, it was def worth it and we enjoyed our stay.

Summary: Peter has a wonderfully equipped suite located on the quiet side of the resort away from the entertainment. Fully stocked with a refrigerator/freezer and Keurig coffee maker. Lots of linens and soaps. Jennifer does an amazing job keeping the room looking great. The resort pools, reclining sunchairs, hot tubs, restaurant, lounge, water slide and other amenities were perfect. Being on the beach we watched the sunrise each moring coffee in hand.
