The “Pelican Pier Beach House” offers spectacular lake views, charming and unique white sand beach area, and wonderful 400-foot private fishing pier with a large covered pavilion and two docks on Lake St. Catherine. Enjoy great fishing and crabbing from the fishing pier, go kayaking or boating, go swimming, build a sandcastle or just relax on the white sand beach, in a comfy rocking chair or on one of the covered decks. Launch your own boat or wave runners at the nearby marina and tie them up at your private boat dock.
When it's time to go inside, enjoy the spacious and open living room, dining room and kitchen with spectacular views of Lake St. Catherine. Very large master bedroom with King bed and ensuite bath (sleeps 2). Guest bedroom with Queen bed (sleeps 2). Kid’s bedroom with twin bunkbeds (sleeps 4) includes a large closet stocked with toys. There is also a queen sofa-bed in the living room (sleeps 2).
Lake Catherine is the best of both worlds: Enjoy nature and sportsman's paradise with the family at the Lake house one day; party in the big city the next day. Only 40 minutes to downtown New Orleans or 15 minutes to Slidell.
This charming vacation property is fully stocked with a coffee station, paper products, everything you might need in the kitchen, and many outdoor amenities including BBQ grill, boiling pot, fishing and crabbing supplies, small jon boat, kayaks, rafts, and bait.

-Spacious 1800 sf house with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms (with new paint, furnishings and appliances)
-3 bedrooms – 6 beds – Sleeps up to 6 adults (not counting additional children)
-Private 400-foot fishing Pier with 16x24 covered pavilion, 12x24 fishing dock, and 4x36 boat dock on Lake St. Catherine (Pelican Pier)
-Charming and one-of-a-kind white sand beach to launch a kayak or jon boat, swim, build a sandcastle, or just relax (Flamingo Beach)
-Outdoor amenities include: 3 kayaks, life vests, 1 aluminum jon boat with paddles, inflatable rafts, fishing poles and tackle, crab nets, crab traps, seafood boiling system, propane BBQ grill, fish-cleaning table, fishing lights, beach toys, beach chairs, beach towels, picnic tables, deck furniture, benches, ice chests, folding tables, and cargo wagon.
-Large covered rear porch
-Downstairs covered patio area
-New elevator and back stairs installed March 2024
-Free WiFi
-Direct TV with sports and some movie channels
-Keurig coffee maker and coffee supplies
-Kitchen stocked with pans, utensils, plates, glasses, blender, toaster oven, seafood crackers, etc.
-2 refrigerators, chest freezer, and ice maker
-Linens/towels, washer/dryer, central air and heat, ceiling fans
-NO PETS allowed
-NO smoking inside
-Small parties and events are allowed during daytime hours only. Number of daytime event guests limited to 35 outside. Absolutely NO PARTIES allowed at night, or to continue after sunset. (Reminder that overnight guests are limited to 6 adults.)
-No excessively loud music or noise inside or outside that would disturb the neighbors.
-Quiet time is 10pm – 8am.
-No ATV's allowed.
-No campfires or fireworks allowed.
-No shooting of firearms allowed on the property
-Must be 25 years or older to make a reservation.
-Note that this property is elevated and has stairs which may be difficult for guests with limited mobility. An outdoor elevator is available but there is one step to elevator and to house from porch, and there are gravel walkways downstairs.

Summary: Stayed for an extended weekend at Pelican Pier with my family to kick off the summer. The amenities were amazing. We crabbed and fished all day on the pier and relaxed on the little beach. My daughter and niece had a blast playing in the sand. The host has thought of absolutely everything to provide for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

Summary: We stayed here for my bachelor party and had the best time. Such a great place to hang out. We only planned one day in downtown New orleans and it was very easy to get ubers there and back. House was perfect for 7 people and we probably had room for an 8th. awesome dock and house.

Summary: The property itself is absolutely amazing. The house is comfortable and has everything you'll need (plus more)! The amenities at the property were also top-notch. We enjoyed the pier/pavilion area so much, and our kids loved hanging out on Flamingo Beach. The location of the property was great, too. Half hour from New Orleans/French Quarter, half hour from Slidell (which is a really cute little town with lots of restaurants). We loved it!

Summary: This was a beautiful property. Everything was extremely clean and the home was stocked well with things one might need. There were fishing rods and even bait which my teens enjoyed using from the end of the dock. After busy days, exploring New Orleans and walking the city it was wonderful to come back to a quiet place and sit on the dock or even the porch. It is truly a getaway but because of that, it is drive to get just about anywhere. Great stay and fantastic communication.

Summary: Close enough for a day trip to New Orleans, a trip thru the bayou or just spend the day in fishing off the dock. I wanted a water view home that had all of these. This house delivered and more. All amenities were in place as promised. Owner made access so easy.

Summary: Perfect place for a fishing getaway! The entire property is so thought through! We lost count of the number of fish we caught after the first night - redfish, rainbow & speckled trout, flounder, catfish, sheepshead, and even a couple stingray - such an amazing time. Summary: Pelican Pier was beyond expectations, pictures don't give it full justice, very impressed with everything, rooms, amenities, pier, location, everything. My family and I had an awesome time, if you are looking for some peace and quite with 4 star accommodations, you will not be disappointed with Pelican Pier. Owner was easy to communicate with, she had mentioned due to the recent storm there was some minor repairs needed and some might not be done in time by our arrival, day of arrival she texted all repairs don. Amazing time, will definitely be back.

Summary: This house has everything you need both inside and outside. Super clean also. We didn’t catch too many crabs but lots of fish off the amazing pier. Caught catfish, alligator gar, and even a shark! Close proximity to the boat launch to get out on the water where we went and got some redfish and speckled trout. Highly recommend and hope to be back again soon.
