Completely renovated in 2008 and newly furnished, this unique two-level unit is part of a historic triplex in the desirable West Beach area. Your doorway is just 1-1/2-blocks from the sands and volleyball courts on West Beach near Stearn’s Wharf, and easy walking distance to downtown State St. shops and restaurants. Also very close is the Amtrak station; no need for a car at all if arriving by train!

The main-floor Living Room has a top-quality queen pull-out sofabed by AU for additional quests, and a 32' flat-screen HD-TV with HD-DirecTV and DVD-player.
The small galley kitchen has a fridge and stove/oven with granite counters, and is outfitted with microwave, coffee-maker, NutriBullet blender, toaster and cookware/dishware.
French-doors off the living area lead to a spacious, private outdoor deck area beside Mission Creek with patio table/chairs. Lots of birdlife.
Upstairs the sunny bedroom has a plush-top queen-size bed with down duvet & pillows, top-quality large dresser, desk and vanity. Adjoining white- tiled bathroom is outfitted with whirlpool tub and shower. Exotic walnut floors extend throughout.

Summary: The configuration of this small unit is less than desirable and not suitable for senior citizens. There are steep winding stairs to the bedroom, closet and bath. All the windows are void of screens so there is no ventilations or air conditioning.

Summary: The stairs are very steep and the treds very small, dangerous for people with mobility issues and for children. The stairs should be disclosed in text and photos.

Summary: We loved being a couple blocks from the beach in a quiet neighbourhood. We thoroughly enjoyed having our breakfast and lunch at the unit inside and up on the outside deck and dinners out in the nearby restaurants. The access to transit was great. Our property managers were friendly, helpful with recommendations and prompt at responding. We had a wonderful experience.

Summary: At the price paid to stay in Santa Barbara, Ca. One should not have to jockey around the town’s difficult parking regulations. If there is no way around the city ordinances then this should be ‘loudly’ stated in the original property description.

Summary: My friend and I took a girls trip to Santa Barbara, and this unit was perfect for this trip. It was walking distance to everything we needed - beaches, urban wineries, restaurants, and shopping. It was private and quaint, and we really enjoy the unit for the 2 of us. Check in and communication was very easy with the host.
