We love living in Mid-City! Vibrant, full of character and lots of local restaurants. It is very walkable, only a 7-10 minute drive or Uber ride to the French Quarter and other tourist attractions. The house is right next to a bike path that will take you either to City Park or the French quarter, Whole Foods is just a few blocks away. Mid-City has it all, local flavor, while still being centrally located!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay and were extremely comfortable in the space--my husband, sister, and myself. The neighborhood is extremely quiet, though deserted after dark. We found an excellent bagel shop nearby--Flour Moon--and found the Whole Foods to be very convenient for our few kitchen needs. We were surprised to discover there are two free range roosters on the block, who we named Ted and Antonio. It was a shock the first morning, but not a major issue. We would absolutely stay here again.
