Positive: I liked the location, the property is beautiful, the staff is great, we also loved that it had a shuttle to help is visit downtown. Will definitely come back.
Negative: The pictures showed a pool, but there is no pool, they are currently making the pool , we saw the workers doing it, the pictures were misleading

Negative: Our friends has a room that was much bigger. Too much closet space in our room, not enough drawers. The bathroom was tooo small. No place to put your toiletries for two people. The toilet paper was disgusting! The food menu in the restaurant was too limited. I had to order a salad and a plain chicken breast from the bar area. For the amount of money that we paid, i would not recommend this hotel for 750.00 a night. I filmed a bug or two on the bathroom floor.
Summary: Too much money for what we got. Not enough choices on the menu's, and very expensive!!

Positive: The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The lobby beautiful. Service very good
Negative: The spa was under renovation. Taking a bus to the fairmont hotel is not fun. Breakfast buffet was very dull and charged extra for un believable thing like coffee or egg. No complimentary water in the room which is shaming for such an expensive hotel. As a frequent fryer i expect evan some sweets and wine in the room.

Positive: Hotel room was well designed and new, and had a spectacular view. Fantastic gym, very good food in both restaurant and the quick breakfast place.
Negative: Wellness area not working during our stay, and had no such information while booking - proposed transfers to Fairmount hotel should have been free (including wellness area not just tranport). Frontdesk/concierge was overall unhelpful. At a facility of this status I would expect to have an individual guest experience manager.
Summary: Very good stay, but some areas could have been better

Positive: The staff was the best, we had several instances where we were challenged with missing the bus and they accommodated us quickly by driving us to town so we would not miss our dinner reservations. The bus drivers were excellent in offering tips in town as well.
Negative: The price for the hotel was way over the top considering there wasnt anything that went with the price. The pool is not available, the spa wasnt available. They offered services at another location, but timing wise it was impossible to take advantage of, so I was definately disappointed with the price and the limited experience there. I was surprised that we did not even get a free water with our room. While these other services were offered at the other hotel, it would have been nice to have that up front in the email reservation you receive so you can schedule something at the other hotel. We didnt know until we were there and everything was booked.
Summary: Overall its a great hotel, lovely staff, food was good.

Positive: Excellent service even though it was clear that they just reopened and many staff were very new and needed help or extra time. Great beds, rooms, decor. The pool was still.under construction and we didn't know this until shortly before our trip. So while that was disappointing they arranged for everyone to use the Banff Springs pools instead, even providing a regular shuttle bus. So well done on the service front in particular.
Negative: I love the Rimrock and the fact that it's outside the main town. But some in our group found the relative isolation annoying even with the great bus connections. You can't please everyone all the time I guess but because of this location is a small disadvantage.
