Positive: Perfect location for our needs - getting buses daily for walks, shopping for food in the evenings, enjoying the peaceful river views. It was well equipped and really lovely to be in.

Negative: Some traffic noise but it died away in the evening. It wasn’t a problem though - you can’t have everything ie be in a brilliantly central place, and expect total peace!!

Summary: Absolutely wonderful, made even better by Jonathan (the host) who was incredibly helpful, and who went the extra mile! 😀

Positive: There was plenty of space for our family of 6. There was one small en-suite shower room, a family bath room and a toilet upstairs next to the bedroom. Also spacious living room kitchen area looking over the river. Liked the differences in decor and the property had character. Location is good for amenities and central to visit all parts of the island.

Negative: Firstly we noticed that the apartment needed an all round clean. We felt that all surfaces and bathrooms needed wiping down which we done and old dishcloths left out etc. Also noticed stains on carpets and couch. Although happy over all we felt the property needs some maintenance issues felt with and a little more TLC.

Summary: Pleasant enough stay but could be so much better. We believe this reflects in the reasonable price of the rental.

Positive: We are a group of 3 friends in our 60’s and chose Riverside Loft for its location in the centre of the IoW with easy access to cycle routes. When we arrived it was teeming down. In fact it rained all through our stay. Jon very kindly picked us up with baggage and bikes, provided parking for the bikes and settled us in. He could not have done more, even picking us up from the Needles on day 3 In the rain again. The property was bright and comfortable with 3 loos, adequate cooking facilities and comfortable beds and seating. A lovely view of the river and a 5 minute walk to Lidl. We would definitely go again, hopefully with better weather!

Negative: Could have done with nicer mugs and a full size cafetiere
