What Our Guests say 500 + Reviews

Summary: We had an unfortunate situation, our first room on the 2nd floor was lovely and spacious - but it smelled bad. (Turns out they had done some drain cleaning that resulted in a sewage smell for our room and the room above us) We first told a housekeeper who said she would let the manager know, but after two hours I went to the front desk. The front desk people were so nice and accommodating, and changed our room. However, it left us sitting in our room with our bags for about 90 minutes while they tried to find a room. They finally relocated us to a first floor room on the front of the hotel. It was located right by the front walk so everyone walking by could see in. We had requested a high floor, so this was not really what we wanted, but we had wasted so much time by that point we took the first floor room. I was disappointed they didn't comp us in some way for the inconvenience. However, it is a lovely place and close enough to walk into town.

Summary: Dark and dated decor throughout. Dining room especially dark with little natural light. Expensive for what it was. But captive audience in Banff, so can set price. Book as far ahead as possible for the town

Summary: We stayed for 6 nights in a spacious junior suite. Loved the size. Loved the gas fireplace (can’t believe it’s so cold in June). Any minor problems were fixed with great attitude by the front desk. Recommend this hotel!!

Summary: The check-in person at the front desk seems not friendly with the cold welcome. He didn't explained clearly the parking (or we misunderstood the parking). We had the street parking near the hotel, and got the parking ticket next day, which ruined a little of our vacation. Even though the room looks very clean, I will not stay this hotel anymore.

Summary: We were so impressed with the hotel, its location, food, and the staff. We loved the robot that would hand out snacks.

Summary: It was a wonderful stay. The suite that we had was roomy and clean. My little one loved the robot that provided jokes and apples in the lobby. Front desk staff were cheerful and helpful.
