Summary: When we arrived one bathroom had no toilet paper so we only had 2 rolls. The kitchen needs all new cooking pans. With family of 7 it was hard cook with 1 very old and small skillet and only 1 large pot. So kitchen needs completely updated with cookware.

Summary: Dealing with Rick was the best, he answered all questions plus more, confirmed boat launches near by, place was great, fun and awesome back in the woods. We all had a blast and would stay there again for sure!

Summary: The chalet is beautifully decorated and accommodated our entire family 5 adults, 1 teen and 1 child. We had a wonderful stay. The house is very clean and mostly updated throughout (there are alot of stairs inside/out however, we enjoyed the little fitness challenge each time we arrived back "home") but I have admit the BEST part was the master bed upstairs. I do not think I have ever slept in a more comfortable bed. I wanted to check the brand before we left, but I forgot! We had no complaints from any other family members regarding the sleeping arrangements either, so the must have slept as well as we did! You will not be disappointed with this rental. The only disappointment we had was the washer and dryer were locked up and we like to dry our suits/towels are beach club & pool. We have been vacationing at Shanty Creek/Schuss Mt since 1984 so we know our way around pretty well. This chalet is located over at Schuss just down from Suedendorf Condos. Great location, great price, friendly (and easy to get a hold of) management/owners. We definitely will rent again! Thank you for the wonderful accommodations that allowed us to make beautiful memories with our family!

Summary: Myself and my old college roomates stayed here for a weekend golf trip. This cabin was perfectly located less than 5 minutes from all the courses we played. The house was very clean and comfortable for us. We loved hanging out on the deck and night. The owner is very thoughtful. I will definitely be staying here again for skiing/golf.

Summary: Great location / close to everything / Traverse City and Elk Lake during the day & even with the rain, the pool pass was nice to have in the evening. Wish we would have had time for more / will def be booking a longer stay next time
