Enjoy sound front views and sunsets over Kitty Hawk Bay! This is a 1 bed 1 bath guest apartment attached to our home with a private entry, private bath, private outside deck and private living space. Newly built in 2017. There is a outside shower available to guests, extra pullout couch, and covered parking underneath our house. Guests have free access to bikes, beach chairs, and kayaks off the dock.
Centrally located on the OBX in Kill Devil Hills. 3 minute drive to free public beach accesses (1 mile), Publix is 1/2 mile away, multiple restaurants within a mile, and this is a wonderful neighborhood for biking. There is a sound front boardwalk to bike down, Wright Brothers Monument is a 5 minute bike away, and many of our favorite restaurants are biking distance from our house.
Avalon Pier, Brewing Station, beach road bars, and Publix all within 2 miles.
House Rules - No smoking and no pets allowed.

Summary: Lovely little apartment with a great view of the sound! Less than 5 minutes away from a public access beach! So many places to eat and do! Owners were very nice and communicated well! Thanks again for letting us stay!

Summary: We very much appreciated staying in this space with its wonderful view of the sound. Every sunset was beautiful, as was the weather in April. We enjoyed biking on the paved trails, hiking in Nags Head Wood Preserve, and walking on the nearby beach. We also enjoyed using the new two-person kayak which Eddie put into the water for us. It was a wonderful visit and we would enjoy doing it again sometime.

Summary: The view was amazing! The place was clean and stocked with everything we needed. There was no door on the bedroom which wasn’t an issue for us, but just something to keep in mind depending on who you’re staying with. The host was easily reached and very accommodating. Check in and check out were a breeze. We had a great time!

Summary: Our third stay here was as delightful as our first. The property is perfectly located in central OBX with close access to beach, Roanoke Island, several nature preserves and most of the shopping areas. We have appreciated and enjoyed the clean, attractive and luxurious interior of this apartment. Everything we need is provided with an eye to quality. Bikes and kayaks are a bonus feature. The host has been quite helpful over the years. We are looking forward to another stay here.

Summary: We wanted to get away from the everyday Hussle and this was the perfect place. First time coming to OBX and left an amazing lasting impression on us. Host was amazing, perfect communication, clean and cozy place. The doc was kind of scary but we're not used to it. Just over all peaceful and quiet gorgeous neighborhood. Everyone was nice yet no one bothers you. Plenty of things to do close by and some great restaurants.to. we loved our stay!

Summary: This little place is perfect for an escape to the Outer Banks! It has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Access to the bicycles, kayaks, beach chairs, and umbrella make the stay even better. Eddie is a very responsive and accommodating host and has helpful suggestions if you need them. I highly recommend this rental!

Summary: MY wife and i enjoyed everything about this place. Quiet, location to our favorite restaurants, and the bike trail that we used 4 days out of five. In the evening we binged on free netflex. A service we do not have access at home. Look forward to coming here again.
