Positive: The rooms were clean, beautiful bamboo buildings. The bed was big and comfortable

Negative: It was very loud, someone was playing very loud music for most of the evening and the rooms don’t seem to be sound proof. We saw on the room information that sometimes the residents nearby will play music until the morning - thankfully this didn’t happen Breakfast options were a little limited

Positive: Great location with beautiful grounds. The rooms are adequate but the noise from adjacent rooms and outside was very bad. In the evening there was a lot of noise from the room above and some loud traffic noise from the adjacent road. Took a sleeping pill and used earplugs but got woken up at 04.45 by a nearby mosque which was very noisy for 10 mins. Five minutes later church bells started, which intermittently rang for the next hour.

Positive: Hotel situated in a nice pleasant compound near centre of Ruteung. Check in smooth and room ready on arrival. Rooms comfortable and clean. All the basic essentials provided. Only suggestion is to add mosquito screens to at least several windows in each room so guests can make the most of the cool breezes and low overnight temperatures. Restaurant was excellent and food and service good. Would stay here again.
