Positive: Lily and Lucas went out of their way to help us make our stay as pleasurable as possible.Whether it was getting entry tickets, recommendations for restaurants, directions or getting a taxi and what to watch out for, we can't thank them enough. We felt so cared for.
Negative: I missed not having a fridge in our accommodation to keep our drinks cool given the fact we visited in their summer.
Summary: I would not hesitate in coming back to stay.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the thoughtful pickup service, which made getting to the resort smooth and stress-free. The staff went above and beyond, not only welcoming us warmly but also helping design a custom itinerary that fit our schedule and interests perfectly. The environment was absolutely serene — each guesthouse has its own private courtyard, offering a rare sense of peace and privacy. It’s the perfect escape from the noise of city life, and I felt incredibly relaxed and refreshed during our stay. Breakfast was another highlight: freshly prepared and delicious. Everything was homemade and served with care — a perfect start to each day. The location is excellent as well — just a short ride from Tianmen Mountain, which made sightseeing super convenient. The staff were always available to help with directions or tips, and their genuine hospitality made the experience even more memorable. Positive: We were very well received by the couple who run the hotel. They picked us up and took us to the airport and to the station to Tiamen. They changed our room to a larger one, washed our clothes on the last day, and helped us with all our tours and itineraries, always serving us very patiently and at no additional cost. The breakfast was very well prepared, with fruits, toast and eggs and Chinese noodles. Our room was very comfortable, spacious, with very good towels and bedding, the air conditioning worked perfectly and the shower was great with plenty of water. The room also had a hair dryer and all the necessary amenities, including insect repellent. We highly recommend this hotel, especially because treatment like this family is impossible to have in a hotel chain. Rating 10 out of 10.

Positive: Normal breakfast start at 8am, but as we were catching train at 9am, owner specially made breakfast for us at 7.30am. Breakfast was good, with some special bread and noodles
Negative: bathtubs could be maintained better. There was a missing water stopper in 1 of my rooms, and the other can't drain water as the stopper cannot be opened

Positive: The service was excellent, they went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect stay, not just at their property but well beyond. The advised us on our day trip to Tianmen mountain and helped us book what we needed. The place it self is great, clean and good location. Cannot recommend enough.

Positive: Host was really dedicated to ensuring we got the most out of our stay. Not only did he pick us up from the airport, but he mapped out in detail how best to explore Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Tianmen Mountain, including making all necessary bookings for us. I have never seen this level of care from a host before, and it is the sole reason I am taking the time to leave this review.

Positive: I would rate it 10 stars for top-notch hospitality. It's a cute place. Cute style and decor. Natural wood. Nice pillows. Nice white towels. The hosts are great and very, very helpful. You get very personalized service. They helped me with my tour tickets, take out dinner order, transportation, etc. The front desk is open late. It's beautiful at night with it all lit up. The pool looks beautiful at night as well with the blue lights. . Walkable to shops and restaurants. Nice neighborhood. Great AC system. Cool mood lighting. Very large bathroom.
Negative: The handle on the glass slider door was broken, so they told me to use the screen door - but that also didn't have a handle. I found this to be frustrating. I also would have liked side tables or nightstands next to the bed to set my phone, charger, etc. And I did not like the messy cords that hang below the TV. These are easy fixes, and I improvised. Hosts aren't equipped to take visa or Mastercard, so I ended up paying a lot in fees for Alipay. My Booking.com reservation said all fees and taxes were included - and they may have been with a card. I preferred to pay with my card, but wasn't able to do so because of their equipment or lack thereof. Still a great place and enjoyable trip.
