The Best Kept Secret on the Beach!!
Thank you so much for taking the time to scroll down to find us, or we wouldn't be the best kept secret on the beach!! Our reviews are testimony to that. We hope that you will come and stay with us and join our family. Most of our guests return yearly to visit and we look forward to seeing them again.
We have been with VRBO for over 10 years now, through the ups and downs and changes in their system. Please feel free to inquire and ask questions before making your reservation. We will try to accommodate any requests you may have.
We may not be directly on the beach but we're only 200 steps from it. Our ground floor location makes it easy to grab your gear and go.
Cape Canaveral is like a little bit of old Florida. It is mostly residential and has a neighborhood feel to it. There are older homes and newer Condo's. The lifestyle is very relaxed and casual. For those of you who prefer not to deal with elevators, parking passes, and 'Condo Rules', this is the ideal place for you. Right outside your front door are chairs and a table for your morning coffee. Read the paper and enjoy the people going by - walking, jogging, or riding bicycles. The City of Cape Canaveral just put in a bike path that runs right by our place and the pedestrian sidewalk is right across the street. You'll also see many people walking their dogs as our neighborhood is very pet friendly.
This spacious 2 bedroom apartment is located on the first floor of a lovingly renovated older home. It is ideal for anyone that has problems with stairs, and has a front and back entrance so unpacking the car and taking in groceries is easy. The living room is an open floor plan to the kitchen and dining area which seats 6 comfortably. Vinyl wood flooring throughout with the exception of carpet in the bedrooms.
It also has the added bonus of a Den with sliding glass doors which open to a small and private patio. The Den is furnished with a desk for your laptop hookup, a bookcase with games and books, a stereo for your enjoyment and a reading chair. If you would prefer something smaller in size, please ask me about my 1 bedroom unit.
Around the side of the house is an outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand from you, the beach chairs and umbrella after returning from the beach. You'll also find the BBQ grill and maybe some charcoal and lighter fluid right outside your back door.
There are beach chairs, boogie boards, a cooler and an umbrella which you are free to take down to the beach. Pack a picnic lunch and make a day of it. If you're lucky you might just see a rocket launch.

Summary: Spacious, clean and comfortable surroundings await the next fortunate person to rent this apartment. There’s a well-stocked kitchen with seasonings and condiments to satisfy every need, comfortable beds, an office, and even a washer and dryer a few steps out the back door. Kathy and Scott have thought of everything to make one’s stay enjoyable, and they are very responsive and available. There’s a lovely and private backyard and patio, and we really have appreciated the first floor living with our car right outside the door. There’s no need to stay in a noisy, crowded complex when this quiet place, within one block of the ocean, is available. My husband and I would recommend this rental to anyone!

Summary: I could not ask for anything more! The house is clean, comfortable, and full of amenities including fast, reliable Internet, TVs in all the rooms, and a well- stocked kitchen. The owner is extremely nice and goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and feel welcome. Any issues with the house were immediately taken care of. Beautiful Cocoa Beach is right across the street, and it is the perfect location to see one of the frequent SpaceX rocket launches. I would definitely recommend this rental.

Summary: The owners have thought of everything. Need only to bring your clothes and toothbrush. In a great location, walking distance to the beach, shopping nearby, many restaurants as well. People in the neighborhood are friendly and very nice. If you’re a cook the kitchen has everything you need. The bed was very comfortable. Walk in shower is a nice touch. On sight laundry room was a bonus. The owners are easy to work with and really care that you are comfortable. Hope to return. Very nice relaxing experience.

Summary: The property owner Kathleen was great- she is friendly and went above and beyond to provide everything we needed to make the stay comfortable. I loved the fact that there is an office in the home and fast WiFi, which allowed me to work remotely while I was there, and a peaceful area to sit in the back with an awning for shade. The kitchen is large and the furniture, including the beds, is comfortable. The beach really is only 200 steps away, and is spectacular. I definitely feel this house was worth the money and would stay here again.

Summary: Our family of 5 stayed here for a month while moving to the area and waiting for our housing. I honestly was so sad to leave! The house is clean, and has anything you might need for cooking, laundry, leisure and beach time. The decor is cute and everything is beach themed! My kids loved having the little tv in the bedroom. The kitchen has everything (waffle iron, blender, cake pans, sauce pans and more!) The beach is so close and it’s located at a beautiful spot on the beach that is away from the crowds at cocoa beach but still right near everything. My kids loved the nearby playground. We had an amazing view of a rocket launch from the beach so close to the house that we just walked over about 5 min before. The fireworks for 4th of July were fun too! It was a wonderful time and our family is so grateful to have stayed at this special place.

Summary: I have absolutely nothing bad to say about our month at this condo. Everything was perfect, from the well stocked kitchen to the well stocked bathroom. If you forgot something, Kathy had more than likely anticipated it & had it waiting for you. With 3 kids with multiple food allergies, I cook all our meals, and usually when we rent condos I have to get creative with the pots/pans situation, but I truly had everything I needed to prepare delicious, healthy meals for my family. The condo is spacious, we all had room to spread out & never once felt cramped, and comfortable. I liked that it had a decent sized kitchen table w/ room for us to all fit comfortably around. It’s a silly thing - but so many times we’ll rent a condo that says its for 5-6, but you can only fit 4 around the kitchen table, leaving someone to sit somewhere other than around the table with the family. The outside shower/hose was nice to rinse off the sand before going into the condo. The walk to the beach is short, shorter than some beach front condos we’ve stayed at in the past, and easy. But if you want to drive, there’s usually ample parking at the free spots by the beach. All in all, it was an amazing vacation, and we’re already planning to go back next year.
