3 Bedroom Apartment in Upper Town, Ixelles

Spacious 2 bedroom duplex on the ground floor of a charming house, typically Brussels with a garden on the street side and a small private garden at the back of the house. The house is located very close to the European Parliament and the Museum of Natural Sciences.
The apartment has just been completely renovated and comfortably furnished.
It is located 200 meters from the 'trendy' square in Luxembourg and 300 meters from the Place Jourdan where there are many activities and restaurants, supermarkets and small local shops open at night. Very important communications node.
Possibility of adding an additional bedroom in the basement (typically Brussels), just adjacent to the apartment and where can comfortably accommodate 2 additional people, with cable TV, separate individual WC and double bed.

The additional room is optional (30 € / night) but compulsory for groups of more than 7 people. Payable in cash upon arrival.
The price decreases according to the duration of the accommodation and the price is planned for 2 people, supplement of 15 € / night per additional person.
It can perfectly suit a group of friends, large families (possibilities to accommodate 8 to 9 people) wishing to meet for exceptional events or to visit Belgium, a group working with the nearby European institutions.
Also ideal for expatriate families (special prices on request) looking for long-term accommodation for installation. We could also gladly help you in this process given our knowledge of Brussels).

We have two parking spaces 180 meters from the house that we rent each with an additional € 10/24 hours if necessary.

Summary: A spacious character home, by the EU buildings. Walkable neighbourhood. Reasonable cost to park car, just remember to have cash to pay for it.

Summary: The apartment was gorgeous and spacious. After touring and having dinner in Brussels, we relaxed in the private patio area. The host, Caroline, explained how to access the parking garage which is conveniently close to the apartment. We wish that we could have stayed longer.

Summary: The apartment was very close to the centre and walkable to most tourist spots. It had 2 large bedrooms a large kitchen ( unfortunately the dishwasher was not useable during our stay) . A large dining area a beautiful lounge. There was a small patio which would be perfect when you have good weather. Just one bathroom toilet. The only issue we had was a bad smell that comes thru the house but easily solved when Caroline was contacted. The washing machine and dryer was in the basement and used by other tenants in the apartment and most of the time clothes were not cleared . All in all we had a lovely stay and the parking outside the house after 7:00 pm. cost only 50 cents until the following morning until 9:00 am

Summary: The location of this property is fantastic! These may be common challenges with the age of the property but cleanliness and comfort were real issues. There were spiders and spiderwebs all over, especially in the basement. We killed a plethora of spiders before we could go to bed. The floors are dirty and we had to wear socks or our feet were dirty. There are no screens (Europe issue) so lots of mosquitos, bees, flies and moths came in when we opened windows (no AC and very stuffy and bad moldy smell in basement from bathroom and not very clean towels or bedding). Pillows missing pillow cases and no top sheet to keep you from not fresh comforters. When we came we were told not to use the single bed because it’s uncomfortable. Very true! The queen bed in the basement is more of a double so my husband took the thin cushion from the single bed and had to sleep on the ground upstairs (too dirty in basement) because the bed didn’t fit 2 adults comfortably. Definitely would not sleep 9 comfortably. We only had 4 and son had to use the couch. Only one toilet and shower in the basement. Stairs very loud. Every time someone had to use the toilet it would wake people up. The washer and dryer are shared and can have long waits. Dryer takes up to 3.5 hours and washer is 1-2.5 hours (both small). We were up at midnight doing laundry and still had to hang things to dry properly. The only comfortable furniture in the house was the couch. The rest was very old and felt stiff and fragile.
