Tucked away under towering redwoods, The Black Nest is a charming, cozy 1 bedroom cottage situated off the beaten path & just a few min drive from the beautiful Russian River. Perfect as a romantic getaway for 2 or a small friends/family gathering for up to 4 guests.
The Black Nest is just a 1 mile walk to downtown Guerneville where you will find restaurants, bars, coffee shops, antique stores, art galleries, wine tasting & more! In the heart of the Russian River wine country!

Summary: The Vlack Nest was perfect for our weekend getaway. Close to the river, the city, and hard everything we needed for our stay. For anyone wishing to stay, highly recommend this place and the price point was perfect for our needs. Please note that there is a closet in the bedroom, it's behind the curtain haha!

Summary: Had the pleasure of staying at this property for 3 nights with my spouse. We LOVED our time here. The house is a perfect size, cozy, and in a great location. We spent the weekend exploring the towns nearby, as well as, the Mendocino coast. We have already talked about staying here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We live in San Jose and visited for the weekend. We were immediately struck with how beautiful and well appointed this rental was. Everything was decorated very nicely and we enjoyed every minute. We had a down pour of rain while there, but don't let that make you decide not to go. We enjoyed our wine and the hot tub even while it was raining because they thoughtfully covered the hot tub area with a canopy. Highly recommend staying here!

Summary: My husband and I booked a two week stay here, the property was absolutely amazing! Great interior design, the exterior gardens were also elegantly put together and serene. We enjoyed the fantastic hot tub in the evenings. Plus, it's all conveniently just a mile away from everything in downtown Guerneville. Will definitely stay again!

Summary: The overall size of the Black Nest is perfect for a 2-person romantic getaway. Though, many would call it cozy, I feel I would say it had no wasted space. It was just enough for two adults to have a romantic weekend: not too small, not too big. 4 adults? Not so much, unless you are rarely there or are very close. Well-appointed, with a gorgeously appointed kitchen. Everything was black and gold, and the utensils for cooking were plentiful. Enough pots and pans and mixing bowls and cutting boards for us to cook dinner and breakfast. The bed was comfortable, with great sheets and bedding. Soft and quality. The overall bedroom was small, but again, well appointed in a minimalist sense, and it felt so vary romantic. We could lounge there for hours, and it felt luxurious and unique. The bathroom could use a shelf or place to put your makeup bag, but overall it was cute, quality, and had great water pressure. I also like that it is at the back of the house, and away from the bedroom and main area. The gas fire pit was nice in the evening. Parking was across the street, and a bit limited. If you have a giant full-sized truck, you may be reaching the limit of parking in the two stalls provided.

Summary: Black Nest is conveniently located and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the property. The hosts were welcoming and had a small bag of supplies for s’mores which our kids really enjoyed. Though the property is small, it’s well equipped and we had everything we needed. It’s conveniently located with easy access to downtown and the beach. Our kids specially enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor heaters that made for a fun evening activity with s’mores.
