Negative: Limited parking, it was touch and go some nights if we would be able to find a parking spot.

Positive: Enjoyed the independence of an apartment rather than a hotel, and it was a superb apartment. It seemed quite new, it was clean, spacious, and the owners had provided everything you could possibly need, from a huge range of cooking pots/utensils to snorkelling equipment and beach towels, even the washing powder and tumble drier sheets were all provided - it really is a home from home. Based in Grace Bay, it was pretty easy to get anywhere by car and there were always plenty of parking spaces (although we did travel slightly out of season). Also, the owners were friendly and very quick to respond if you had any queries and they recommended a few good eating places.
Negative: The apartment is about a 10 minute drive from the centre. Not really a problem for us as we hired a car, which you really have to do if you're going to explore the island - the only other form of transport is a taxi. However, if you're not a driver or just want everything within walking distance, this probably isn't for you. There were a couple of places to eat within walking distance, including Baci, which is well worth a visit. Also, if you're looking for a fab secluded beach, being out of the centre is a plus.
Summary: Highly recommended comfortable apartment that is great value for money

Positive: We absolutely LOVED our stay! The Cottonwood House is THE place to stay in Turks and Caicos. The apartment is at a great location, at a walking distance to the beach at The Bight and it was very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped and there were also beach items available such as beach chairs and umbrella, which was very convenient for us. The condo is very quiet with a chill vibe. We loved how close it was to the best beach in our opinion. We had the beach to ourselves and enjoyed snorkeling at Smith's reef almost everyday. At night we walked to the Marina to enjoy dinner at a waterfront restaurant. We would definitely recommend this place to our family and friends. And now that's our place to stay whenever we visit TCI in the future.
