Get ready for the perfect family getaway at this newly built 4 bedroom 3 bathroom home with all the contemporary touches you would expect when staying in a 5 star vacation home.
You'll find yourself at home after a day on the mountain or playing at the lake when you relax in one of two living rooms both with televisions. A very relaxing option is having a dip in the outdoor spa surrounded by seating and tall mature pines. You could also gather the entire family in the spacious kitchen/ dining area for a delicious meal cooked in the gourmet kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances and breakfast counter.
When its time to retire for the evening you'll have four bedrooms to choose from, each as luxurious as the next. Everyone will have plenty of room to spread out since two of the bedrooms are upstairs and two downstairs. Downstairs also features the second living room and access to the spa and the fenced in yard.
Explore the neighborhood and you'll find the Y area with its numerous shopping outlets, Raley's grocery store, BevMo liquor store, ski rentals, and more. Camp Richardson is just a few blocks in the other direction. An abundance of great restaurants and bars dot the surrounding area. You'll also be close to some of the best BBQ in town at Sonney's BBQ Shack, hardly a shack though.
Worth Mentioning:
- Both the City of South Lake Tahoe & The County of El Dorado have gotten extremely strict in enforcement of posted rules which can be found in the rental agreement. Be sure to become familiar with said rules to avoid steep fines and visits from the authorities
- This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival
- This property has limited cell reception
Guests will find this home centrally located just minutes away from all the action. You're less than five miles to Heavenly and just 1 mile to Camp Richardson. This property is also within one mile of numerous restaurants and bars such as Sonney's BBQ Shack, Cantina Bar & Grill, and the Burger Lounge. Raley's (grocery store) is also less than one mile away.
Larger groups are welcome with this being one of three homes right next to each other that we represent, rent all 3 and sleep up to 32 people.

Summary: We have been renting a cabin for a month with friends to enjoy the ski season and had a great time here. Cell reception was weak (we did get a heads up about that) but wifi connection worked perfectly throughout the house even with 8 people working remotely and taking meetings. Communication with the host was always great and timely and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Summary: House is a seen on VRBO. Very spacious- great for our all grown family gathering. Nicely decorated, great floor plan with 1st and 2nd floor living rooms. Kitchcen and baths nicely stocked and day 1&2 starter stuff(soap/paper/trash etc). The local property management company was off the hook- immediate response for even the tiniest of questions. Spa was cleaned for us mid stay (not because it was dirty or requested but because that's how the do things). Raia is the bomb! Location was perfect for us- right on our bike/hike/beach paths. And short drive to casinos etc for a few trips. Grocery store close by. Houses a little closer than we like but all neighbors were all very nice. 2 small things I would change - Needs a functional backyard - when gathering with family we like to sit outside, play cornhole etc-backyard it set up only to look at. Second is master bath light is automatic- with open floor plan the light going on in middle of night was a bit much. For a short stay this is no big deal but this was a month stay so it got a little old.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Tahoe in this rental. It is in prime location to South Lake Tahoe, with easy access to the town and lake. The rental had plenty of room for our party of 7. Two things about our stay were really frustrating: first, the air conditioner was not working upstairs. It got extremely hot during the day and at night, The second issue was we were not permitted to use the hot tub due to COVID. We were not told we were going to be unable to access the hot tub. We were given a hot tube code the day we arrived, but it did not work. I tried getting in touch with Love Rentals, and they kept advising me to contact the property manager on site (which we were not told who that was until having to go back to Love Rentals). It was frustrating because we saw multiple homes (including the neighbors) using hot tubs. While we understand the issue surrounding COVID, it was poor communication and extremely frustrating to find out that we couldn't use it AFTER we had gotten there. Other than those two issues, we highly recommend the stay. We understand times are unusual, just wish we had better communication prior.
