Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway in Bloody Point on Daufuskie Island. (Please be advised that you can only reach Daufuskie Island by boat; you cannot drive here. Water transportation must be arranged to reach this carriage house.)
You are renting the cozy Lillypad Carriage House with Queen bed, one bath and kitchenette, with balcony overlooking water and expansive park view. You are sure to see deer, birds, herons, egrets and alligators!
This a very peaceful and quiet location.
The beach is a three-minute cart ride away!
Your stay will include an electric golf cart (no gas carts allowed in Bloody Point).
The space you're renting is the Carriage House above the garage so you must be able to climb stairs. There is a queen bed, sitting room and kitchenette all in one space (studio setup). The full bath has a shower, toilet and one sink. You will also have balcony access from the Carriage House.
The kitchenette includes a small sink, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, keurig and combination air fryer/toaster oven. You will also have access to the grill (attached to home propane tank) on the south side of the main house.
It is possible there could be someone staying in the main house during your stay (but not likely). The only shared space would be the grill area and driveway.
Keep in mind, there are alligators in the pond!! We do not own the pond so no walking along the bank, fishing, swimming or wading allowed. THE POND IS FOR VIEWING ONLY.

Summary: We loved the exclusion of the house from others with wildlife roaming around us. Perfect for two, and Haley was so helpful! Having the golf cart as part of the rental made that necessary part of a weekend get away easy.

Summary: We were pretty busy with other things while on the island, but my wife was thrilled with the accommodations. Nicely appointed, the amenities all worked, and it was quite quiet too. The little balcony was perfect for grabbing a cup of coffee in the morning. We had a little issue when we first arrived, but our host responded to my frantic email with a phone call in 2 minutes and the problem was solved. My wife said the bed wasn't the most comfortable. 😁 All in all a great stay!

Summary: The Lily Pad cottage was the perfect size and location for our weekend getaway! Beautiful scenery, very quiet, peaceful surroundings. Beautifully decorated, very cozy! We’ll definitely book this cottage again on our next stay! We had a wonderful time! Highly recommend!!

Summary: It's a one-room FROG overlooking an old (not operational) golf course. You're on the southern end of the island, but it's only a 15min golf cart ride to the north end of the island (Haig Point), so you're close to everything, but also you've got a lot of room to yourself. Perfect for 1-2 people looking for a quiet getaway.

Summary: This is the perfect hideaway for 2 adults. Clean as a whistle. Our only problem was that we didn't have extra days to explore the island. The wedding took up all our time. BUT, that gives us an excuse to go back! Thank you for allowing us to stay in this adorable cottage!

Summary: Excellent loft apartment. Super cozy and comfortable with everything you need. Our first visit to Daufuskie and fell in love with the island. Owners were friendly and anticipated our needs. Golf cart was provided and was at the dock waiting for us with a map (although phone GPS works well).
