Positive: The hotel was located in the most idyllic spot - right on the most beautiful pink beach. From our suite we could hear the waves crashing onto the shoreline which was the most wonderful sound any time of day but especially in the morning. The food in the Maree restaurant was delicious and inspired. If you ordered an omelette for breakfast it was moist and freshly made, fruit was always the freshest. The dinner menu was well thought out and there was something for all tastes. The cocktails were inventive and delicious and it would be easy to over-indulge! The hotel offers one-off art classes as an experience which we did as part of my birthday celebration, it was very enjoyable and we were provided with a bottle of Prosecco and canapés too. All of the hotel staff were extremely courteous by nature and very well trained. We got to know many by name and they couldn’t do enough for us! Thanks so much to Vlad at the pool, Shirl our Maid, Gabriel, Zhou and Marianne in the restaurant, Perry in the bar, Chey the Concierge and Michelle, one of the Managers, for all making us feel so welcome - we’ll be back!
Negative: The only minor fault was the beach sunbeds - they could do with an upgrade.

Positive: We were lucky enough to visit in early August, just before the hurricane. The Loren is beautifully located with the most extraordinary view (and sound) of the Atlantic Ocean. It's the most photogenic location with the best view of any restaurant on the island: the loudest sound being the waves. We hired bicycles and rode along the disused Bermuda railway which is stunning and everyone at the hotel was kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The celebrity chefs visiting for special meals were a particular delight and we very much hope to return.
Summary: Beautifully located and brilliantly run hotel! Go if you can...

Positive: The view is gorgeous. Restaurant is very expensive and service is slow after you are served. Pool service is also a bit slow.
Negative: Taxi service even when we called ahead was slow. Couldn’t get a water bottle from The front desk at $1275 a night. The hotel is far from Hamilton so plan to spend $50-$100 per day to leave the resort for activities.
Summary: Beautiful facility but would get a better value elsewhere

Negative: One thing I think could be improved was the toilet paper. I would recommend a higher quality toliet paper.
