Positive: Gorgeous hotel with charm that makes you feel like you’re transported back in time, super friendly staff and a really cool rooftop bar (though really busy & a super sticky floor!) Great location away from the busy French quarter and in the lovely garden district. We were celebrating the start of our honeymoon and they were kind enough to have a bottle of Prosecco for us on arrival!
Negative: With the old charm came a room that was in need of a slight update. Our toilet basically did not function at all which was very awkward when having to go downstairs and ask for it to get fixed, we had to ask twice and even after someone came and fixed it the problem still persists. I also found plumbing issues in the main lobby restrooms also. Our room also did not get cleaned the entire time we were there, which was only two nights but I would expect it from a 4 star hotel
Summary: Gorgeous hotel with vintage charm, but some small issues that could do with improvements!

Positive: Great location close to magazine Street not far from the French Quarter or Frenchman Street, great bar with live music , fabulous rooftop bar.

Positive: Location was great - trolley stop right outside Good selection of bars / restaurants Rooftop bar was beautiful Got drinks vouchers too to spend Staff were great - especially those working in the Bayou Bar Also best robes ever - they are pink!!
