The View is positioned perfectly for a relaxing holiday in a coastal and town location. It is placed at the top of the cliffs directly over the Great Western Beach overlooking the bay, with the town centre and beaches a stone's throw away. The apartment offers uninterrupted views of the sea towards the headlands and the harbour from a spacious private balcony, the living room and the master bedroom. In the Summer, you can enjoy the spectacular sunset whilst watching the world go by!
The apartment is ideal for those seeking the pleasures of a coastal holiday with the convenience of town location with restaurants, supermarkets and hotels within walking distance. There is a lockable surf store for the sole use of guests on the ground floor in the communal hallway.
The apartment is situated on the first floor of a converted Victorian/Edwardian building. It retains some character features with tall ceilings and sash windows.
There are numerous shops, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops immediately outside the apartment. Newquay railway station is directly opposite and there are regular bus services to Truro, Padstow and St. Ives. Just below the apartment on Great Western Beach, there is a surf school and is a great place to surf and enjoy a beach walk all the way to the harbour on low tide. Nearby coastal paths lead all the way to Padstow. There are some excellent beaches within walking distance from the apartment such as Tolcarne, Town and Lusty Glaze. Newquay is a hub for Cornish culture and adventure. There is the famous Fistral Beach for surfers and the award winning Rick Stein restaurant for all to enjoy.
There is no private parking. From October to April, parking is free on some public roads. From May to September, parking is payable in the train station car park opposite the apartment. Parking permits for a weekly stay can be purchased via your mobile phone with APOCA for £52.00 a week or £10.00 a day. There are 2 hours free parking outside the apartment on Cliff Road as well as parking from 9 pm to 9 am daily. There is off street parking (no yellow lines) across the road from the apartment. Please check out the parking signs yourselves before you park as the rules of parking may change from time to time.

Summary: We had a fabulous stay - the apartment is spacious, very well equipped, clean and has marvellous views on beach, coast and harbour - so we had front row seats for the fireworks on Dec 31st. Actually a 12 out of 10 Disposing all our rubbish in the public dustbins on the road took a bit of getting used to, but is enforced by the city…. Free parking in the area is also rare, but there is a car park just opposite the house.

Summary: I stayed for a week with my two daughters and a few of their friends. We loved the apartment, the view couldn’t be faulted and it was a comfortable and very well equipped apartment. I dropped a star on the cleanliness as there were a couple of places that I thought could do with a more thorough clean but generally the apartment was cleaned to a good standard. Unfortunately the pesky seagulls make a mess on the balcony and it would have been nice if the glass had been cleaned of poop but I understand of course that the odd poop is totally unavoidable. The apartment is on the highstreet which comes with noise through the night but unless you’re a light sleeper it shouldn’t bother you too much. We really liked the location because we could walk to everywhere we needed to go. We managed to find parking in The Manor Car Park which was a 10 minute walk away and a weekly permit was £26. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Waking up in the master bedroom with that seaview is something I’d never get bored of. If you want somewhere with a view that is walking distance to shops, beaches and restaurants then you won’t go wrong here.

Summary: Absolutely well presented and beautiful, stunning location. Woke up every day to watching surfers, coffee on the deck and cocktails at night. Owner was very responsive and prompt. We would absolutely stay again Be aware the garbage disposal is a daily item on the sidewalk public bin but not a real problem.

Summary: We had a very enjoyable stay in Chi's apartment - so spacious, with a fabulous view! We were delighted with the accommodation when we opened the front door, and the photos really do not do it justice! All the beds were so comfy, the whole apartment felt luxurious and the kitchen was well-equipped. Could not fault it, and highly recommend a visit!

Summary: Chi’s house is really lovely and I would definately recommend it to other families. The view is to die for and the size and layout of rooms is perfect. Although we loved the property, there are a few points that we though need improving: - The two smaller rooms facing the road are very noisy. The windows are only single glazed and this did not shut out any of the noise which was constant every night. - The balcony area although had a lovely view, really needed TLC as far as the flooring is concerned - The cleaning of the flat was ok, but could do with more attention. For example, the kitchen cupboards had lots of fingerprints, inside drawers (crumbs), windows very dirty, patio very dirty, dust on window sills and on skirting boards.
