Positive: The Leopard tent was perfection. We loved our stay, the room is spacious and clean. The surroundings are uniques. Staff was very nice and the dinner was delicious. The safari experience was priceless!
Negative: Just a little more organization on the dinner but it wasn’t a big deal.

Positive: Very friendly staff, lovely tent with own pool and nice terrasse and with a layout so that you felt you were the only ones there, tasty food, sweet dogs, nice with outside dinner and with breakfast on the high platform with views of the park and sea.
Negative: Nothing really.

Positive: If you want to visit Yala NP than this is a great place to stay. I stayed with my family in the family tent and we really enjoyed it. The tent was very comfortable and we had a table and chairs in the tent where we could play card games together. To top it off, the staff was very friendly, helpful and they even got a birthday cake for my boyfriend. We only mentioned the day before that it was his birthday and we didn’t even ask for a cake but they got one anyway! :) Lastly we also had a very good breakfast both the Sri Lankan and American were great and we enjoyed on a higher platform where we had some great views over the park

Positive: We had an absolutely incredible stay. Property is breathtaking with beautiful views on the national park. Staff is exceptional: very friendly and looking out for your every need (eg bringing wet towels right after safari, setting up a private romantic dinner). Food is wonderful and the chef was very thoughtful. Safari was expertly organized, with a knowledgeable guide and great lunch set up in the park. Could not recommend more!

Positive: The breakfast spot was stunning, we loved sitting up high and looking at the view. Dinners were equally delicious and another beautiful setting. We enjoyed the fun of sleeping under canvas, and the 'wild' bathroom with little frogs visiting. The staff were really lovely, helpful, friendly and a joy to talk to.
Negative: The small pool with our tent sadly irritated all of our skin so we couldn't use it. The local dogs that wouldn't leave the outside of our tent was a shame as our daughters were quite afraid of them and it took up residence on our outdoor furniture, which meant we couldn't sit outside. Unfortunately, the beds were really quite uncomfortable.
Summary: Fun 'glamping' spot but 2 nights was enough.

Positive: Close to the nature and having the whole family in one room. The service and accommodation were excellent. So beautiful place. Having dinner by the bonfire was amazing. The kids loved to look for frogs and gekkos in the evening even though we already have been on a full day safari. The room was clean, nice outdoor shower and staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Tucker room that gave us opportunity to walk to our own treetop giving us a beautiful view. Perfect for a morning or late cup of tea.
Negative: The bathtub needs to be repaired. Some tiles were broken.

Positive: We loved how private and quiet the location was. It's very close to Yala national park and you can see animals around the property. We saw peacocks and lots of different birds flying around us. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff is very kind and attentive and helpful.
Negative: I was hoping for more to explore around the area such as walking trails or an open area where the kids can kick a ball around.
Summary: It was excellent! We are very happy with our choice to stay here.

Negative: Just a reminder when booking: the stay is in the jungle so wild animals can appear.

Positive: The staff were the best we had in Sri Lanka, always available, attentive and positive. We felt so relaxed and at peace for the duration of our stay. We stayed at the Eagle lodge, had our own private pool and outdoor showers. They had arranged a full day safari with a 10% discount and accompanied it with the most knowledgeable guide and safest and calmest driver. Dinners were excellent, especially the butter chicken and dessert with salted caramel. They can arrange transfer and transport upon request.
Negative: Staying in the wild comes with its own downfalls (such as little frogs in the inside shower). The lodge lacks proper ventilation, which means the air conditioning needs to run constantly. Unfortunately, the AC unit is positioned quite close to the bed, making it less than ideal for a restful and healthy sleep. Adding a ceiling or pedestal fan would be a welcome alternative and help improve overall comfort.
