Positive: I stayed here with a group of friends for a weekend in Swansea, it was a short walk away from the city centre and easy to find. Instructions from the host were clear regarding check in and checking out. This house is so unique and well decorated, and the record player in the living room was a great find! As musical people, we loved this! The house was clean, comfortable, spacious and we slept incredibly well, and for the price this was fantastic value!

Negative: Unfortunately the property was not clean upon arrival. Despite paying for being able to check in an hour early, the absolute filthy state of the place when we opened the door was abhorrent. Sheets, and towels all over, kitchen dishes out and leftover food. Luckily the owner was able to be contacted and booked a cleaner to fix this right away, but it left us no confidence that the property was due to be cleaned before our arrival - the extra hour hardly would have been enough time to begin making the place presentable. Ironically our cleaner the next morning arrived 15 minutes before our set check out time. Otherwise we found the place adequate, it had character and was comfortable, but its functional features (kitchen cupboards, back garden for example) left plenty to be desired.

Positive: The property was in an ideal location for what we needed it for. Plenty of room for 6 of us.
Negative: The property felt cold on our arrival.The heating could have been on a timer. The bed in the front bedroom was very creaky resulting in a bad nights sleep!
Summary: Perfect for our one night stop over not sure about a longer stay.

Positive: This charming and spacious old townhouse in downtown Swansea has an interesting vintage record collection, guitar, backyard area, full kitchen, washer/dryer, and a third bedroom on the top floor, accessible by a spiral staircase
Negative: I liked everything about it. I would like to have restored a few decorative instruments that were there for looks

Positive: The house was in a nice quiet street and large enough for what we needed
Negative: When we arrived at property, the electrics were all off, turned out the electric had tripped so we needed to find the fuse box and put them back on. Generally tidy however on closer inspection not very clean, didn’t look like it had been hoovered for a long time. When we went to make breakfast the next morning, saucepans and crockery were dirty so went out for breakfast instead. Shower didn’t work, instead I had to shower in the half bath, which was no easy feat for someone who is 6ft 6! Everything requires updating, half of the furniture looks like it was about to collapse and very grubby Due to working in the day and not arriving until 2130 we had no choice but to stay, if it was earlier in the day I would have cancelled the booking and fought alternative accommodation!!
