We're located one 1/2 block from the beautiful white sand of Playa Punta Mita. This spot provides world class surfing for all levels, beginners to professionals. Choose from our collection of 25 high quality surfboards; find just the right one for you. Either take off down the beach on your own, or enjoy David's specially guided surf package, which includes his invaluable local knowledge, transportation, lessons, board rental, & lots of Aloha.
We're a great spot for young and old, families, singles, just about everyone. Enjoy the privacy of your suite or join us for dinner. .
Don't dare miss joining one of Lisa's famous Mexican dinners. She is an incredible cook and her meals are a gourmet delight. David is a talented professional musician, all of which makes for some truly unforgettable evenings.
Banderas Bay is genuinely spectacular. Maybe you just want to relax, enjoy the simple life. That works pretty well around here. Muy Tranquilo! Perhaps take a stroll down the beach, you can even hike several kilometers if you wish. (check out our link below to the beach walk slide show)
In winter months, the tropical blue water offers daily sightings of whales courting and calving. Spectaculoso! Watch pelicans diving, local marineros plying the reef, sailing yachts tacking into the anchorage. It’s common to see dolphins, turtles, and even giant manta rays in the sea nearby. Take a sail to snorkel in the nearby Marietta Islands, do some Stand Up Paddle (SUP), play golf nearby or go fishing.
Did we mention fishing? Its Incre-ible! This area is home to trophy-size black, blue, and striped marlin, yellow-fin tuna, sailfish, dorado (mahi mahi), rooster fish, and more. Local charters are available and easily arranged.
Best of all, Lisa's always there for you. Hot, fresh brewed local coffee often shows up magically in the morning at your door, even if you're going fishing at 4am. Of course, she can then prepare your catch any way you like when you return. It just doesn't get any better.
Children? We like 'em and are ready for yours. We have youth books, toy trucks, inflatables, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, and unbreakable dinnerware. The ocean here stays shallow with a sandy bottom, perfect for swimming and kids' play, and the bigger waves usually break about 100 yards out. Don't miss the sunset release of hundreds of baby sea turtles at the Nuevo Vallarta Sea Turtle Preserve.
Its very safe here in Punta Mita. 'Restaurant Row' is just five minutes down the beach, including classic Mexican palapa cuisine, Italian, plus a number of upscale, top end restaurants, even a couple of bluesy nightspots. A small Mexican grocery store nearby offers everything from tequila to local yogurt.

Summary: Hidden gem. Nestled in residential Punta Mita. Very close to the beach. Dave and Lisa were great hosts, providing us with whatever we needed (information, advice, beach accessories). Location is safe and secure in gated space. Great for a more immersive experience into local culture. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Lisa and David were such lovely hosts and their property is a little haven on the edge of town. Fresh coffee delivered every morning by Lisa, and David had a range of surf boards you could use for free (beginner soft tops) or some slightly more performance type boards for a small fee. The pool was great to cool off in, we just had to be vigilant with our little one. The apartment we stayed in had everything we needed for a lovely stay, almost too large! The rooftop bar area was a nice little spot that we only used a bit but well worth checking out, got both sunrises and sunsets! It’s about a 10 minute walk to town (pushing a stroller) and the beach is only a block and a half away and was great for our daughter to go ‘swimming’ in calm water. Overall if you’re looking to stay somewhere friendly and unique, and for excellent value I would highly recommend booking one of Lisa and David’s apartments.

Summary: Property was clean and nice. Beautiful space to sit at pool or on rooftop if you are at the villa. Kitchen was unreal! Very stocked with essentials to cook and clean with. owners were friendly and made sure we had what we needed for a good stay. I would definitely come back here and want to bring enough of the family to rent the whole villa for next time!! Lisa and David are amazing!!! Summary: Lisa and David went above and beyond in making sure our stay was great. Their friends caught some mahi mahi and they had us over for an amazing dinner one night. The rental was great...fully equipped kitchen, a/c in all the rooms, nice custom artwork, and super fast wifi....and less than 5 minute walk to the beach and 5-15 minute walk to great restaurants. Great beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, and boogie boards available at no charge. Great little gem in punta de mita.

Summary: Lisa and David were such kind and generous hosts for our surf vacation! Lisa kept us caffeinated with daily deliveries of hot coffee before heading out for early surf sessions. They also kept us well informed about fun activities and good eats in the area. The apartment had a large kitchen which was great for cooking and a nice deck for lounging. Great value for a group of four friends!

Summary: Lisa and David and the dogs are very warm and wonderful hosts! Lisa’s coffee that she delivers first thing in the morning is delicious and she even surprised us with homemade cookies and brownies. We got to hear David play music at a local restaurant and he shared tips with us regarding where to surf. We felt very much at home. It was sad to leave and we hope very much to return!!!

Summary: This was our first visit to Mexico, and thanks to our wonderful hosts and their excellent accommodations we were thoroughly impressed and hope to return as often as possible. Lisa and Dave are superb hosts. Their integrity is apparent from the beginning. They respond promptly to any inquiries ahead of time. They are reliable and thorough in their welcome and orientation. Their attention to details in terms of directions, explanations and recommendations immediately put us at ease. The accommodations are well represented in the photos on the website, but of course pictures can never do justice to the actual experience. Our suite was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Once again, the thoughtfulness of our hosts was apparent. We were amply supplied with all the necessities, and there were extra touches such as sharp knives to work with, extra cutting boards, a variety of pots and pans, extra bedding, books, puzzles and such that made for a very comfortable and home-like atmosphere. There are other pluses that one needs time to appreciate. We adored the resident dogs with their friendly visits and affectionate natures. Lisa spoiled us by providing a carafe of fresh coffee on our patio table every morning. The courtyard is beautiful, with lovely trees, great lighting, and attractive wall murals. The ocean is a short walk away with beautiful clear, warm water and sandy beaches. Lisa and Dave have resided in Punta de Mita and can make recommendations for various activities and outings, as well as who to contact. Lisa and Dave have the unique ability to offer the warmest welcome and hospitality and the graciousness to let their guests participate as much as they wish. Lisa invited us to Thanksgiving dinner, and kindly included our other family members in the invitation, even though they were staying at a different location. Even though we had never met before, we felt like we were staying with friends. We would high recommend that anyone travelling to Punta de Mita make their experience wonderful and memorable by staying with Lisa and Dave.
