Walk along the Scenic Coastal Walkway or hire a bike and explore the many beautiful beaches and coffee spots, nature walks, shopping, restaurants and cafes, arts and culture. So much to enjoy and explore along the way. By the Sea on Sackville offers the perfect location to base yourself.
This completely separate, stunning apartment is located on the ground level of a modern and spacious home just a hop, skip, and jump from the beach. The private sheltered courtyard offers a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy at the end of a busy day exploring the many wonders Taranaki has to offer. A light and bright living area separate large bedroom and large spacious wet room shower.
The Master Bedroom has a comfortable king bed and great indoor/outdoor flow. A well-appointed equipped kitchenette with all you need for light cooking. The bonus off-street parking completes this wonderful cost-effective package. The property boasts an advanced fresh air ventilation system, and it is well-insulated to create a warm, cosy environment.
Enjoy a good coffee and pastry at Piccolo Morso and lunch at the Hub while you enjoy exploring the quirky village shops of Fitzroy. After a busy day out, you can curl up and watch Netflix on the Smart TV and make use of the Unlimited WI-FI.
Please Note The Cleaning Fee: All linen & towels are provided by a commercial linen company and are professionally laundered. Properties have been cleaned prior to guests arrival to meet the Ministry of Health commercial cleaning standards. A part end of stay cleaning service is included. This covers the cleaning of bathrooms, mopping and rubbish removal. Guests are required to leave the property in a tidy and clean state all dishes are washed/the dishwasher loaded and turned on prior to departure.
All Bach Break properties come well equipped with cooking oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, milk, cleaning products, dishwashing liquid, toliet paper, liquid hand soap and body wash. Guests are asked to bring their hair dryer with them.

Summary: excellent location, great to be able to walk to the beach. Lovely crisp sheets on the bed. Bed and seating very comfortable. We had everything in the bach except hairdryer, good to know before hand so i could bring my own. The owners that lived above were friendly on the few occasions we saw them.

Summary: Exactly what we wanted, clean, spacious and the most comfortable bed. Good heating - we were there in winter. Lovely private courtyard with the sun streaming in. Great sized bathroom with a large shower area. Comparably well priced. When next in New Plymouth we'll stay again.

We were very comfortable there while attending WOMAD. Could hear the ocean and easily stroll to beach at end of road. Great communication and very helpful with booking arrangements.Reversing the long driveway may be a bit tricky but was ok for us.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a nice apartment in a good location and comfortable to stay in. Also reasonably priced. However, there are some real inconveniences that need to be sorted.Firstly, there’s a hair dryer in the bathroom, but no PowerPoints! Ok, I could dry my hair in the bedroom, but there’s no mirror. So I dried my hair in the kitchen using the reflection of the TV!Secondly, the driveway to the apartment is close to 200 metres long and you have to back out. No turning circle anywhere! The apartment is also quite stuffy on a warm day.
