Far Cry is a 1935 newly renovated 1 bedroom cottage nestled in the foothills of Colorado Springs. It is conveniently located steps from Stratton Open Space with numerous trails for hiking and biking, minutes from Seven Falls, North Cheyenne Canon, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and the famed 5 star Broadmoor Hotel. Create your own meals in a fully equipped kitchen or grill your favorite dinner on the deck overlooking the city. We supply a selection of coffee and teas for your enjoyment. Your dishes, flatware, and glasses are all provided.
Luxury bedding makes the cozy bedroom, with a queen size bed, a delightful escape.
Your bathroom will provide a tub/shower combo, heated tile floors, a washer/dryer combo and luxury amenities.
The living room is sunny and bright, with 7 large windows, mountain and city views,

Summary: We loved Far Cry Cottage… the location was perfect with hiking, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, grocery stores and restaurants all very close. Loved sitting on the deck listening to the hummingbirds flying overhead in the trees. The backyard was secluded and felt very private. The cottage had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend. We would definitely stay there next time we travel to Colorado Springs area.

Summary: The cottage is adorable. It is very small, but we knew that when we rented it. It’s very quiet with lots of privacy. Probably a little too small if you’re a large person. My husband is 6’2, so we probably could have used more space as we stayed for 10 days. Again, we knew it was small so it was advertised very accurately. The dark out shades in the bedroom was a bonus. Gets super dark at night which we loved.
