The bedrooms were spacious, though the listing said that there were 3 queen beds and there were only 2. The kitchen was well equipped and the family room and bathroom on the lower level was an added bonus. The deck was large and enclosed, which was good for the dog. The neighborhood was quiet and centrally located to Orleans, Chatham, and Harwich. Thank you for a great week.

Summary: This is a great property for people and dogs! We enjoyed staying here but sadly got confused with the listing sharing that one room had a queen and two twins, which didn’t exist. However we made it work. I reccomend going through the realtor site in future as we didn’t realize Vrbo added more fees!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For the 4-5 years we have stayed in Mr. Carlsson's home we have had a great time. As it turns out, we only make use of the first floor, and never need or go up to the second floor or basement, but we are fine doing that. We also don't know how to use or need the outdoor grills, so we don't end up having to clean them...One comment, however. In the back bedroom there is a table lamp which does not work - it isn't the lamp as we tried it elsewhere and it did work, so the issue must be in the outlet. Not a serious problem, but I thought we would just mention it. Otherwise, all was great. We can't wait to get back in late August.

It has all the facilities we need, and many more we don't take advantage of. We love it there and hope and expect to be repeat renters next year. Sorry that we couldn't wait to say hello to the owner, but had to get home to New York early. Can't wait for next June!!!

Reviewer Comments: We always have a good time down the cape, the yard condition seems to be getting worse each year, although he took down the front bush which was great. The place was not very clean (the back deck was filthy). We vacuumed and cleaned before we left, the new fridge in basement was great. The house has no changes and seems to be getting older each year. We are in search of a 5 bedroom next year you help is greatly appreciated. Bob cell

The street is quiet and people are friendly, and the house itself suits us perfectly,despite the fact that we have only seemed to use the main floor - we don't use the upstairs at all and almost never find the need to go downstairs. Additionally, since we have in the past 35 years rented on Portanimicut Rd, we love the area. On several occasions when we were leaving to go home, we have met the owner,and find him very friendly. We missed him this last time.

Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The House is terrific, we have been coming here over 5 years. Although we feel some upgrades are needed.The two twin beds upstairs are not sleepable (not comfortable) we used air mattresses instead. It would be great if you put two Queen beds instead as you have plenty of room and they are a better sleep. Also the fireplace smelled like heavy smoke some days not all. It would also be great to see out the picture window as the bush is very tall. The yard is not as big anymore with the firewood storage not very attractive. A retractable awning would be great for back porch (wicked hot from the sun). Overall we had a great time.
