Summary: Booked this location to spend a few days around Christmas with family. The previous reviews convinced me that this was the optimal spot for us.On the positive side - quiet location, plenty of kitchen cooking and dining supplies, lots of games and outdoor seating. Sleeps 10-12 (depending on who sleeps in bunks). Wood burning fireplace with plenty of wood (not dry, so buy a wax starter log)On the negative side - the hot tub was a major reason we chose this spot. We had nothing but trouble getting it to stay hot in spite of the back and forth with the host (who promptly checked with his maintenance person and advised us to keep the top on it.) Doesn’t stay set at requested temperature. We figured out that it resets to 96 degrees if you don’t use the controls for two hours. It then takes 4-5 hours to get hot enough to use again (102 degrees). Massively frustrating. The interior space needs more lighting. One overhead fixture per room is not enough for the kitchen, living room and bedrooms. Bedrooms have one overhead light on the fan, which is awkward, at best, to find remote in the dark. We were looking forward to using the grill, but propane is not provided. Host advised us to go out and fill one of the tanks. We paid over 5,000 for six nights. Come on.Not what we hoped for.

Summary: We loved Hideaway Cove! Nestled into the trees with easy dock access, this house had everything we needed for a relaxed vacation with two young adults and a tween. We took full advantage of the kayak's, tube and paddle board and went out on the lake almost every day. We appreciated chilling in the hot tub and playing the huge selection of board games.

Summary: We arrived late on the first evening and had a bit of a hard time finding the sign directing us. Easy getting in, and all was as expected. Wine and snacks were a very nice touch. Outdoor area is lovely — great to have frig outside. New dock is very nice (there is an old one we wondered about but assumed that’s not the one!). Master bath is nicely redone; furniture and deck off master not cleaned in a while; other baths very old. Beds and thermostat worked great. For a large house, would be nice to have a larger coffee maker. . . . And toilet paper is the thinnest!

Summary: We came to the area for spring break with our kids. We wanted to be able to drive into Atlanta but also be somewhere with some activities for a down day not being tourists! This lakeview home was great! We especially appreciated the outdoor fridge/freezer on the deck because we could have groceries delivered in preparation for our arrival and didn't have to hurry to get there and get them inside! They were able to be delivered straight to a fridge! How convenient! The space was great for our family of 4 with two teenagers who need their own space. We could have fit more! The lake was fun, we enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board and did some fishing. There was everything we needed for cooking and so much extra. What a kind and thoughtful touch to have treats waiting for us upon arrival! The kids loved the candy bars and trailmix and my husband and I loved having coffee there available! Matthew was great to work with, great communicator. Thanks for wonderful time!

Summary: We had the best trip! A great house right on the water. A great host. We had one issue and it was responded to and taken care of immediately. I've stayed at a number of various rentals and this tops the list. The welcome book with suggestions, the snacks and water, the kayaks and more. We couldn't have asked for a better host. If you're trying to decide between two properties, be sure to pick this one!

Summary: We had a family get-together - 8 of us in total: 3 kids, 4 adults, and Grandma - and the house was perfect for everything we needed. Matthew was a wonderful host and very communicative. The house feels wonderfully homey and all the little things you need in your day-to-day are thoughtfully provided. As it was an extended family vacation, we definitely put the kitchen to heavy use and we were never short of any tool or gadget we were looking for. Oh, but the LAKE! Kayaks and paddleboard were in heavy rotation the whole week. The dock sits on a quiet cove (good for learners) but it's only a short paddle to the bigger channel for the more experienced. Finally, the house is only 10-15 minutes to any kind of shopping you need and many restaurants as well. We even ordered UberEats with no problem. In short, this house feels like rural paradise but offers all the comforts you might be used to.

Summary: Stayed here with family and friends for the week between Christmas and New Years and we were not disappointed! Very comfortable and spacious 4 bedroom home in a quiet neighborhood that you will enjoy. The wrap around deck allows you to enjoy the various wildlife, we saw 2 beavers in the lake, deer on the hillside every morning and night, and even a fox which was really cool!!! The outdoor amenities here really allow you to relax and explore not only Lake Lanier but to also appreciate the north Georgia landscape! Book this place for your vacation and I’m pretty sure you’ll agree when you stay here!

Summary: This place was everything we thought it would be and more. The set up inside was great, all beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the fire place and the outside fire pit. The kids loved the downstairs area. We also fished off the dock and even caught a few. The location was great any shopping you might need or want to do was 15min or less away. Our host was great, he was very quick to respond to any of our questions. We definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to visit again in the summer.
