Positive: The coziest stay we could have wished for after a long trek.
Negative: I hope the renovate they A/C units soon because they couldn’t quite keep the outside cold away inside the bedroom.
Summary: Wonderful place, excellent food. Felt like home away from home.

Positive: Very good location to visit the northern part of Torres del Paine (1 hour drive from Mirador base Torres trailhead). Cerro Castillo is a tiny village but the hotel offers dinner. We enjoyed our stay.

Positive: Overall, we had a great stay at Riverline Lodge and it was a good base for visiting Torres del Paine, without paying the high prices to stay in the park. The dining options are very limited in Cerro Castillo, fortunately the dinner offered here was quite good and reasonably priced. The staff were very kind and helpful, including offering hiking recommendations, helping us dry out wet camping gear and arranging an early breakfast so that we could depart for a long hiking day.
Negative: The rooms are on the small side and the walls are thin, so depending on the other guests you may hear some noise during your stay.

Positive: The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Dinner was expensive but tasty. And considering there are no other good options available that was a good dinner. The communal area was very comfortable and warm.
Negative: Overall it was way overpriced for what we got. I paid 330 dollars USD for two nights.we had better accommodations in Puerto Natales for half that price. The room was small and basic. You have to keep the fire going otherwise it will get really cold. This was especially an issue in the morning in the shower. Breakfast was basic. On the first morning there were small sandwiches, but not on the second day. Also there was filtered water which later disappeared.
