Positive: Staff couldn't have been more kind or accommodating. Good food, made to order within limits. Full time electricity. I would stay here again.
Negative: The only thing I would have liked was a better room fan and hot water but I knew that going in.

Positive: Location was excellent we saw more wild creatures / insects like bullet ants, leaf ants, tarantulas, poisonous frogs, bamboo rat, saddle back tamarin monkeys and armadillo around the grounds on a night walk and in the day with the guide than on an excursion. The sloth was my favourite and for my boys the armadillo. The food was superb 👌 the cook was so accommodating and her food so delicious and our host Whally was brilliant thank you so much for looking after us ❤️
Negative: On one of the days of our stay the showers were cold but that's not so much of a problem if you shower earlier in the even whilst the sun is still out. As temperatures were about 22•c 23• c around the camp.
Summary: Absolutely brilliant stay with delicious food and great host.

Positive: Breakfast was excellent, as was dinner. Beautiful views of the river and nature everywhere. Jaime was a great host and Sabina was an excellent cook. Jaime set us up with amazing tours and made sure we had everything we needed.
Negative: The place was surrounded by noise, so it was very hard to get a good night's sleep. Someone nearby was playing club music as late as 3:00 a.m. most nights, and roosters started crowing before the sun was up. Dogs were barking at all hours, too. The location is also far enough from town that you need a taxi to get most places. Aside from that we really loved our stay!

Positive: Wonderful staff and an idyllic location on the river. The women managing during the day and cooking the meals (very good local ingredients and vegetarian friendly) were kind and welcoming, the children sweet and engaging. Jaime, one of the male admins, was also very helpful, and Mateo, the boat capitan, pointed out some wonderful animals at night. As a female solo traveler, it was especially nice to engage with the women - Miluska, Rosa and Danuska. A lovely family. You are very much immersed in nature with a screened bungalow in which all sounds and songs are present. It has a rustic feel, with mosquito nets over the beds, and there is hot water for the shower. A good spot if you want to feel connected to nature. There is a little dock for the river boats landing on the property. I am grateful for the experience and the kind and accomodating staff.

Positive: The location is beautiful, the staff are incredibly kind and will go out of their way to make sure your stay is a good as it can be. The home cooked meals that were provided ( breakfast and dinner ) were traditional and delicious.
Negative: Honestly nothing, the experience is what it is authentic and honest. If you’re looking for a “hotel” experience this is not for you but if you want to experience the beautiful Peruvian culture, fantastic home cooked food and you don’t mind big insects, this is your place
