Summary: Swift and friendly check in. The lady was extremely helpful and ordered us a taxi when we needed one. Room was basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. Only problem was that the curtains wouldn't close properly. Would stay there again if needed as it is a good budget hotel.

Summary: The room was tidy and clean wasn’t fussy on the sitting on the check in desk. The room next to us there were four in one room and they kept us awake all night talking and shouting for the price it was ok. Would I recommend it No

Summary: Don’t be put off by what it looks like outside. It’s a social club that’s tired and a little shabby with rubbish etc outside. BUT, the staff are very nice and helpful and the room (separate building by the car park) was very clean and comfortable, albeit in need of a little TLC (curtains handing down). I have paid a lot more for a far worse room in other places and for what we paid I think it was absolutely fine and for be night, would use it again. Plus, although a club, very little noise.

Summary: We had a double room on the second floor booke for 2 nights. Ensuite, double bed, TV clean. There were no wardrobes but an alcove with two coat hangers. Staff very friendly and offered to carry bags up stairs. I said we could do with a few more hangers, and within minutes she was at the door with more. I asked if we could have a couple of chairs and within minutes they were provided, Tea and coffee provided but no kitchen facilities. We were told they nearly never survived Covid and justgetting back on their feet. Welcome to purchase food several takeaways local and bar staff provide clean crockery and eating utensils. They even opened up the lounge for us so we hade somewhere quiet to eat. Bar staff friendly, prices reasonable, £4 a pint. We were made to feel welcome and at home, they waved us goodbye. It is budget but warm clean friendly, locals too. We would stay a gain good value.

Summary: A nice place to stay for a few nights. Beds were not the comfiest, but once you get used to them, they're okay. Staff were nice, and there's plenty of shops nearby for whatever you need.
