The one level, three bedroom house structure with a large and accommodating great room encourages friendly gatherings whether it be families or friends. Three inviting bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen, cozy clean- burning gas fireplace, large picture windows and homey décor are all features that combine to make a relaxed, yet elegant atmosphere. The enclosed backyard features a spacious deck and barbecue area. The front deck is a perfect place to watch squirrels and neighbors enjoying nature. Four bikes are provided to avoid the car lines at the beach entrances while facilitating a favorite Tahoe pastime of biking the many wonderful, flat trails that lead to Pope, Kiva and Baldwin Beach. All rooms have knotty pine ceilings. The Master bedroom has a king size bed and convenient bathroom with shower. Bedroom two and three have queen size beds and there is an aerobed in the closet. Quality linens are provided. The second bathroom with shower over tub is just outside the middle bedroom.

Summary: This is a lovely property, very true to the photos presented. Maybe a little smaller than I expected (1300 sq. ft), but a very effective use of space. Well appointed. Please be advised, however, that it is NOT 1.4 miles to Pope Beach. It's 3 miles but a pretty easy bike ride.

Summary: We loved being at Lake Tahoe again. Being at the rental was close to everything at south shore. We easily visited our favorite places to eat and found a few new ones. It had 3 bedrooms which was ideal for the four of us and our 2 dachshunds. Michelle as great and answered our questions promptly. Would definitely stay here again.
