Positive: Beautiful hotel, the whole compound and the access you get is very cool. Great restaurants with loads of choices. The staff are great. The property is massive but there is a great shuttle service that connects you to everything. For each villa there is a buttler which looks after you during your stay. We had Paola, Nestor and Alfredo and they were amazing. Made our stay very pleasant. Amazing experience, definitely recommend. It also in a good location to visit some of the beatiful attraction in the region has to offer.
Negative: Should have spent a bit more time there, overall very good experience .
Summary: Great staff, beautiful location, would definitely recommend.

Positive: The food was exceptional and the butlers were all very nice and helpful. The rooms were spacious and well kept.
Negative: I was told I would get a $600 credit to use at the hotel. When I arrived to the hotel they only offered me a coupon book. I was told I didn't need to carry it around to use it and could claim coupons at check out. When I was checking out they said I had to present the coupon when I used it and not at check out. They refused to apply any of the coupons. The nightlife activities could use help, it was lacking and seemed like everything was geared towards an older crowd. The best part was the entertainment at Chic and you had to pay extra to do that activity. There was racoons everywhere, I understand that the wildlife is present but seemed to be a big racoon infest. Overall I have stayed at cheaper hotels where I enjoyed my stay more. I don't think I would recommend or return to this hotel. The hotel is also an hour away from either airport and they do not have complimentary airport shuttles.
Summary: It was good but could be better especially for the steep price.

Positive: The property is clean and well manicured. The staff is exceptional. Each building has its own butler. Butler George of 64 was very helpful and always available. Manager Jonathan was exceptional and made our honeymoon VERY SPECIAL by recognizing us each evening.
Negative: The advertisement on Booking.com was misleading. It stated we would have a $600 resort credit which was not given. Instead we received a coupon booklet to use at the resort for things like $50 off a $210 50min-massage. Obviously not worth using. This was a HUGE disappointment with no recognition from hotel. We were also talked into a “membership presentation” which he guaranteed was NOT a timeshare. We were told it was a breakfast where they explained member benefits. Untrue. It was EXACTLY like a timeshare presentation but instead of 90min we were there for almost 3 HOURS! When we kept complaining of the time, the sales staff laughed and said it was a “Mexican hour”. Which we didn’t feel was funny since we were on our honeymoon and spent $650 a night for 4 days to stay there and enjoy ourselves, Not be trapped in an aggressive sales scenario.
