Spacious quality master bedroom with ensuite and access out on to the patio where you can watch the sun set, with a glass of wine before tucking yourself into bed for a peaceful nights sleep. Three additional large spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. Large basement garage with automatic door opener will ensure your cars are safely tucked away while you explore our beautiful city.

Covid-19 cancellation policy.For reservations made on or after 10th June 2022 our standard cancellation policies will apply. From this date we will no longer be offering credits or moving booking dates if guests cannot travel due to testing positive for Covid and self isolating.

Please note: We do not refund for cancelled events due to Covid, standard cancellation policies apply.

Please note the cleaning fee: All linen & towels are provided by a commercial linen company and are professionally laundered. Properties have been cleaned prior to guests arrival to meet the Ministry of Health commercial cleaning standards. A part end of stay cleaning service is included. This covers the cleaning of bathrooms, mopping and rubbish removal. Guests are required to leave the property in a tidy and clean state all dishes are washed/the dishwasher loaded and turned on prior to departure.

All Bach Break properties come well equipped with cooking oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, milk, cleaning products, dishwasher tablets, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, liquid hand soap and body wash.

Other Details:

The property is very well equipped with most things you will need on holiday. If you use a hair dryer we ask that you bring one with you as hair dryers aren't supplied.

Reviewer Comments: House needs a bit of TLC, the sink incinerator was absolutely foul smelling, we push a couple of lemons through there and it seemed to clear the worst of it away, the extractor above the stove is totally unhygienic, it needs a proper cleanse, shower head in main bathroom don’t stay up on the slider, the fitting is broken. Besides these small discrepancies it was awesome, thank you.

Summary: Fantastic large 2 storey home looking over the road to the beach. Easy walk to town. Easy to book and good communication throughout. Perfect property for our family stay. Property just needs a little TLC - peeling wallpaper and clean up of back yard. This however did not affect our stay in the slightest.

A few minor gripes - barbecue gas ran out within 20 minutes - very frustrating as then had to clean BBQ as well as inside oven trays. Also with 8 people we really need more than 1.5 tea towels and 30ml of detergent.

There are fabulous views from the main living area and it is so spacious. The position is great as it’s quiet but just a short walk from the main part of town. Lots of walking from the door. It was very clean with immaculate linens. It’s also a boon to have the garage to park in, especially on a weekday when the road fills up with cars very quickly- on weekends it’s empty!The only thing letting it down a little is the carpet which is a little stained in places and a couple of the bathroom fittings probably need replacing. I imagine that it is a work in progress for the owners upgrading it as some parts have obviously been upgraded already. I would definitely recommend it and would stay again if we were visiting the area again.

Summary: A little tired but that is reflected in the price. Mirrors in the bedrooms would be handy, as well as some basics such as paper towels in the kitchen and a coffee plunger but all in all, a great place to stay.
