Summary: Trying this VRBO apartment instead of a hotel room was a great choice for us. We discovered a new part of NOLA and had a wonderful time checking out this historical area. Our host gave clear instructions so I felt we did not disrupt this family oriented neighborhood. I’d book this again.

Summary: It was a very convenient location near our daughter. A waste basket in the bathroom would have been nice. The shower was our only complaint. It had no pressure. Other than that it was very nice.

Summary: Overall our stay was great! The beds were very comfortable and I loved the gas stove in the kitchen. The couch and chairs were uncomfortable BUT I feel like if you would use those chairs as accent chairs in each room and get some new living room furniture in the living room it would be helpful. A couple minor touch ups and this place would definitely receive 5 stars from everyone!!

Summary: The VRBO (2-bedroom apartment) was cozy and just right for my husband and me. There were small things that were in need of maintenance, but nothing major. The Host took care of everything immediately. The apartment was on the first floor, under the main house, so we heard all the lead feet of other guests when they walked in the back of the house. Not many stayed though. The neighborhood was AMAZING. There is Barracuda a taco place across the street, Toni's on the other side of the park next to the house, and an English Pub towards the Ferry. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this VRBO and HOST.

Summary: The property was clean, the beds were very comfortable and plenty of towels. The ceilings were much lower than we anticipated, with 2 guys 6' and over, they had to be very careful not to get hit in the head with the ceiling fans. The kitchen could use more updated non-stick pans with lids that fit, more silverware and there was no dish washing soap to hand wash the pans that had food stuck to them because they weren't non-stick. I didn't feel the host was the most communicative, his answers were very short when i did ask a few questions and had in issue with a Walmart delivery. I didn't feel he was very helpful. The location was perfect for our plans to attend Mardi Gras, the ferry was a short walking distance from the home.
