Positive: Location excellent for the money we paid. Lovely apartment and lobby. Well thought out. Loads of cupboards. Lovely helpful staff. Paid Parking in the building which you could pre-book.
Negative: A slightly stale smell at the entrance hall of the apartment which was very obvious each time we came home but no obvious reason for it as the apartment was lovely and clean. We had the apartment right next to the lifts having asked at booking to be positioned as far from the lifts as possible as we are very light sleepers. We were disturbed at times by noise from the lifts and people in the lifts unfortunately.
Summary: Overall a great stay in a lovely city apartment

Positive: This is our second time staying at California Building and we absolutely love the location and the rooms/apartments are always clean, comfortable and perfect!
Negative: The parking garage elevator…it’s a little scary. Didn’t stop on us but it sounds like it could definitely use some maintenance. Also, we paid for parking at the building’s garage and someone else was in our spot the entire weekend. Luckily there were a few “backup” spots that we were allowed to park in but it still kind of defeats the purpose of assigned parking and I was worried about being towed all weekend. Luckily I wasn’t. Other than that, all was well.
Summary: Great location—book the terrace rooms for a nice view!!

Positive: Very clean... spacious... exactly the way it showed on the booking.
Negative: Needs more mirrors... and wifi wouldn't hook to TVs in the rooms. And did not get the email to get in the room with all the codes. Had to call Hosteva to send it.
