Summary: My family stayed here after my daughter, her husband and granddaughter returned from Okinawa in the Marine Corp. The owner was very accommodating for our stay so they could get acclimated not having their apt ready at their new duty station in New Orleans. Unfortunately, the adjacent unit, also owned by the same person, had construction ongoing while staying there, which wasn’t conducive to sleep. We asked if the early work could be pushed back a bit and he was again understanding. We were the first VRBO renters and being an experienced traveler using VRBO, I suggested to the owner he may want to add to the kitchen supplies as there was a shortage of plates, utensils and cookware. He was very receptive to my recommendations. I should point out that the owner did have coffee and snacks available. Linens and towels were clean and plentiful. But it should be noted it is not suitable for handicapped guests because of double set of stairs to second story, plus a lack of safety bars in the showers. Also missing are railings on the steps leading to and from the home. I think the area, as well as the home has potential and is on the road to becoming an up and coming place for future guests.
