I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time. The unit was relatively clean and well maintained, but the location and access to the Outrigger resort's pool and beach was the highlight. Roosters woke us up early the first day but we were able to fix the problem for the rest of our stay by leaving the fans on at night to create some white noise. The only thing about the property that fell short was I was unable to locate the beach umbrella described in the apartment listing...otherwise the unit was well appointed and stocked with the essentials.

Summary: The resort is lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed the bbq area and pool areas. My husband is a contractor, so he wasn’t disappointed in some of the deferred maintenance on the condo itself. He mentioned feeling like he should be working on it. Example: the plumbing access holes in the showers, the broken, painted concrete with the rusted re-barb showing on overhead balcony. My sister-in-law and I would return in a heartbeat, but our husbands, not so much. We all loved the close proximity to all of our activities and Kalapaki beach and Duke’s.

The couch is wicker and not comfortable. Could not relax on it after a long day out. A comfy couch would have made the stay perfect.

There were so many amenities that I wasn't expecting. Plenty of dishes, cooking utensils plus spices, condiments etc. Beach chairs and coolers. The living room air con was old a quite loud and the patio furniture a bit worn but other than that everything was great!

Summary: Well stocked unit. Great location. AC a plus in the 2 bedrooms and family room. Towels need to be replaced as they were stained from the red dirt. That may be a losing battle though. Shower curtain also needed to be replaced as it was smelly and moldy. Washing the curtain helped with that. The unit would have gotten 5 stars if not for the prior. No bugs in the unit which is a huge plus for Kauai!!
