Positive: The staff was so lovely and welcoming and helpful with helping us book trips and extend our stay, we arrived early and we was able to check in earlier aswell which was a big help. Close to the beach aswell which is nice. I would highly recommend this place to stay when in koh samui

Positive: Helpful staff, quite near to the beach. Helped me book ferry to koh tao and a taxi to pier. Came to poison ants in my room. Room had kettle and fridg, where they brought drinking water daily! The AC is good, but you have to choose that option upon booking! I booked the fan option, but after 1 night i payed for the AC for one night as it was pretty hot. The fan is not too bad either, if you can take the heat.
Negative: First impression on arrival was that outside of the bungalows it smelled like mold. All tho the top sheets had been changed and were clean (apart from some old stains), the bed cover under the top sheet was dirty, (with sand or some food crumbs maybe?). I asked to change that, which they did. I also had ants in my bed, i didn’t mind them at first before i saw that there was more, and they were coming from the bed itself, they were on the wood under the matress. When I came back later the pillow end of the bed had maybe 10+ ants at one spot under the pillow, when i went and asked to poison the bed, which the lady did do after some convincing. After that i didn’t see the ants in the bed anymore, but they moved to the table instead, where the cleaners had put my towels that were now full of ants 😂 I just shook them off. The ants are not a big problem but in my opinion it tells about the level of cleaning: the ants go after food, and if there are food crumbs on bed or the bed is not cleaned from under the mattress, they are going to be there. I did not eat on the bed, so the crumbs must have been old as they were there when i arrived.
Summary: Passable for a short while, but not very comfortable

Positive: - Location, near beach, rather quiet area - Good value - free drinking water every day - Nice terrace to relax - Quite a big room - Comfortable bed - Friendly staff
Negative: - Wifi isn't very reliable - Noises from neighbours can be heard very easily, can hear talking, TV, furniture being moved. But in general it is a quiet place. - Shower is quite weak.

Positive: Loved everything about staying here. From meeting the lovely family who own the hotel, to the room and location. It’s in the quieter side of Lamai (except for a bar across the road) with direct access to the beach. The room was always clean and the furniture and fixtures in good shape. Shower was always hot, and a small balcony overlooking the street was a nice extension to a decent sized room. The location has little restaurants, a Muay Thai gym, and of course the beach across the road. I would highly recommend.
Negative: Unfortunately there is a rather obnoxious bar across the road. Not the fault of the hotel owners, but something I found displeasing.
Summary: A place I would definitely recommend in Lamai.
