3 Bedroom Apartment in Newcastle, Dundrum

This is a stunning 1st floor apartment in a peaceful village which has the 'wow' factor. Enjoy uninterrupted views over the beautiful Dundrum bay and the Mountains of Mourne - classified as an 'area of outstanding natural beauty'. You would find it difficult to find a more spectacular view anywhere in Northern Ireland. The apartment is south-facing and is bright and sunny all day long. It has a large spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining area and balcony. The superb floor to ceiling corner windows frame the amazing view while you cook, eat or relax! The apartment has wifi and all modern conveniences.
The master bedroom is ensuite with a king size bed and views of the bay (fabulous for enjoying the sunrise), the second has a double bed and the third two single beds. We can accommodate 6 guests in total. We can also provide a travel cot and high chair.
The apartment has solid wood floors, original artwork, high quality beds and furniture and contemporary furnishings - all guaranteed to ensure you have a comfortable stay - but of course the view steals the show! - ever changing throughout the day as the tide ebbs and flows in and out of the bay!

Things to do: Whether you are looking for a relaxing get away from it all holiday or an adventure filled holiday, our apartment offers you a gateway to both. Dundrum offers breathtaking views, historical sites and nature walks, In nearby Newcastle you can enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities including golf, hiking, cycling, fishing, mountain climbing, canoeing etc. Newcastle has a world class golf course (Down Royal), which recently hosted the Walker Cup. The stunning Slieve Donard Hotel has a luxury spa, perfect for a little pampering. Castlewellan has a beautiful castle, lake and gardens - perfect for walks. cycling and canoeing. Within a half day or full day's drive you can enjoy most of the tourist sites of Northern Ireland - Strangford Lough, Antrim Coast, Fermanagh lakes, the city of Belfast, historic towns of Downpatrick and Armagh and beautiful villages such as Hillsborough and Crawfordsburn.

Summary: Location is amazing, views over the sea and the mountains are very special. Dundrum is a great base for the Mournes, Newcastle and Belfast.

Summary: Had a wonderful stay in Dundrum with Janet doing a fantastic job in making sure everything was perfect for us. There was a lot of attention to detail in this property which meant our children had a great time too. Will return here when back in the region.

Summary: The best rental place we have ever stayed in! Everything and more was provided and all top quality, definitely a home from home. Janet is an excellent host and couldn’t do enough for us the welcome gift was a lovely touch. The views are to die for and even with the not so good Irish weather we still managed to do so much. We will hopefully return 😊

Summary: We had a lovely stay at Janet's apartment. The views are spectacular. Lots of pleasant walks with abundant wildlife on your doorstep. Overlooking the Mourne mountains and National Trust Murlough Nature Reserve, the changing tides and weather are mesmerising and relaxing to watch from the balcony or full length windows. The apartment is so good we've been three times, and booked for next year, but we really shouldn't tell everyone how wonderful it is or we will find it hard to get booked in the future!

Summary: We had an amazing time at this beautiful property with great amenities and stunning views! Our only issue was with the check-in instructions as the boat has been moved away and we didn’t understand why the lock box at the front door didn’t work - it took some time to find the right one. Apart from that, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be back!

Summary: The place was very clean. Janet, the Owner, catered for every little need. We intended to take day trips out, but I could not get my wife away from the window. We stayed at a previous apartment that overlooked the ocean, and is Popular in Portrush on North coast. This apartment is much cleaner and more peaceful. This is coming from a Portrush man! You will not fail to enjoy it. (Janet is lovely too).

Summary: Spacious, beautifully appointed apartment in the ABSOLUTE BEST aspect to capture the mesmerizing and constantly changing views. Lovely part of the country with much to see and do within an easy drive. Or just stay in and soak up the scenery! Owner, Janet was a pleasure to work with. Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. The flat was very clean, very comfortable and very well equipped. Our host was very helpful and our lovely welcome pack was a lovely added touch. The views are stunning from the lounge and Master Bedroom and the beds very comfortable making for a peaceful nights sleep. Murlough Nature Reserve is within walking distance with lots of walks and wildlife on the doorstep, yet Belfast is only 45 minutes away. We enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked again for next year.
