Summary: Location, Location, Location! This house is in a beautiful, safe and quiet area directly across from the park and the house is super cool with tons of amazing decorations. We took the streetcar into the French Quarter, which we got after about a 5 minute walk. I took a lovely early morning walk to the Caft Du Monde in the park every morning for a cup of coffee. The furnishings and supplies were great. Sara was super nice and accomodating. The house is huge, and is very old so it has some quirkiness that we loved...old push button light switches, etc. So don't expect state-of-the-art luxuries, but it is super fun, and made our New Orleans experience so cool. The pool was awesome for when it was hot (which is pretty much always), but the house A/C was more than able to keep the house cool. All and all, probably the best VRBO experience we have had (aside from an initial mix-up where Sara may have thought we were robbing her... but that was quickly resolved, and actually pretty funny in the end). Highly recommended.

Summary: It took me a few days to write our review as I am still dazed & in awe by the character and charm of this beautiful home! We were celebrating 35 years of our women's travel group and wanted to go big. This home did not disappoint in any way. The property was even more beautiful than the photographs. Every room told a story and there were vintage furnishings and fixtures throughout. Butler's waiting room anyone? This beautiful historic property is a treasure and our host Sara was the jewel in the crown. Her kindness and southern charm made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this spacious historic property and look forward to a return visit at any time!

Summary: 5 stars is not enough for this property and the host. I have stayed at MANY vrbo properties and this by far was my favorite! It is 100% what you would think of for a 130 year old New Orleans home. Very safe and walkable neighborhood directly across from city park and only 3 block from the trolly line. The beds were very comfortable and the house is spotless. The host, Sara, is the best. She is the sweetest lady you will ever meet and everyone in our group instantly fell in love with her. I can guarantee you any time i go back to N.O. i will see if this property is available!

Summary: Beautiful historic home! Not small child friendly. Many breakable antiques! The owner Sarah is very friendly and helpful. Available to answer questions and give loads of interesting information. She is conveniently located in a down stairs apartment. It does have historical house issues with the plumbing. The water takes a long time to get warm. The house is a short distance from the City Park and street cars. A short driving distance from the French Quarter. Perfect location if you want to be close to the action but not in the middle of it at night.

Summary: We had an amazing time in NOLA!This house was part of it! The decor the age of it everything about it was amazing! Excellent location for all NOLA has to offer! With great dinning options within walking distance. Street car stop a block away was convenient, world famous beignet a short 5 minute walk. Not to mention the place is huge!Multiple seating areas if you like to relax with a book of just enjoy sitting out on the porch!10/10 would recommend! Good chance we will be back one day!
