Summary: This was a modern apartment, with all amenities included. The washer/dryer was very helpful! A group of us stayed here while attending a conference at the convention center for a week. It was only a pleasant 0.8 mile walk to the convention center. If we wanted to visit the French quarter, we could take the Charles Ave trolley, which was one block away. The only complaint was that we could hear people walking around in the apartment above us. That was a little annoying late at night or early in the morning. If the option exists to ask for the upstairs apartment, I recommend that you do so.
