Positive: Size and decor plus cheaper than a hotel and 3 times the size
Negative: The stupid Lockboxโ€ฆ it was pouring with rain and dark and there were a few of them. I couldnโ€™t see, my glasses were all wet. Itโ€™s a bad idea. Someone older is not able to bend down in the dark and manage that. Plus you donโ€™t get to see where it is until after youโ€™ve paid. Terrible idea. I put them in the 147 mailbox, I was t bending down and dealing with that to return them.
Summary: Great place, wouldnโ€™t use again with out a key in my hand not in a lockbox around a bike rack.

Positive: Location excellent, lovely view down towards the bay. Apartment was really lovely with all the facilities we could want and more. On site parking was a real bonus. Great communication with host, couldn't ask for better.

Negative: The saga of entry to the apartment which was very difficult and almost impossible when it was dark! Picking up a box attached to a bicycle rack with a code which was black and using it for entry to a garage and apartment!! They need to come up with a better idea!!

Positive: Itโ€™s very central, and very well run. Very clean, equipment, beds, linens and towels all good. The owner was really helpful, went the extra mile for us, quick responses to my questions about additional parking and charging points for an electric car, even though we only had a 2-night stay.
Negative: Nothing.

Positive: Very clean, good location, comfortable bed, helpful owners, easy parking.
Negative: The only issue we had was there was no hot water the first morning. The hot water heater isnโ€™t on all the time - you have to boost the boiler if you want to use hot water outside of the programmed hours. We did this and still didnโ€™t have hot water. The owners were responsive and came on-site very quickly. Weโ€™re not 100% sure what caused the issue, our guess was because we used the washing machine (even though we washed in cold water) it pulled the water from the hot water heater. Later in the day the owners came back to verify we had hot water, which we did.
