Positive: The property is in an excellent location - easy access to the town and the beach. The suite we stayed in was gorgeous, and the free standing tub with a view of the sea was magical. The staff in this hotel are second to none. Beth and Jas made our stay that extra bit special. Our little dog is always treated like royalty as well and got his own little bed and treat bag. This stay was extra special for us as we got engaged, and the venue and staff just added to what was already a perfect trip.
Negative: Nothing!
Summary: Excellent location, caring staff who go above and beyond and gorgeous rooms!

Positive: Great location and very welcoming staff. Breakfast Eggs Benedict - my wife said it was lovely.
Negative: Just expected more for the price we paid - over £300 for one night. I realise we live in a world driven by supply and demand and St Andrews is a very popular destination during August but we found the classic "Coyam" room we were allocated to be rather small and had a cramped feel about it. The shower room had paint flaking from the ceiling above the shower head. Breakfast of full cooked breakfast was very poor - it appeared to have been sitting under a heat lamp prior to serving as it was very dried out.
Summary: Stayed on 17/08/2024. Great location and staff but hotel needs more attention to detail paid to it.

Positive: The staff were very nice to deal with, the meals (mostly breakfast) were very good, our room was a great.I. I have no complaints.
Negative: I wasn't excited to have a room semi-under ground level, but in the end that was probably a good thing, as we didn't have to lug heavy bags up the front steps.

Positive: Our room overlooked StAndrews beach--gorgeous sunset, light breezes off the ocean. The room was spacious and immaculate, bathroom the same. We loved the staff--so helpful and accommodating. Dining was divine--we sat in the alcove overlooking the beach--food was exceptional, service was excellent. Wonderful stay--highly recommend this hotel. Also, it's two blocks from the golf course and the beach.
Summary: A simply awesome hotel experience--lovely stay!
