Positive: Absolutely stunning apartment! Super clean and spacious rooms, everything you need is there, quiet pretty area close to Edinburgh, everything was perfect. I will definitely stay here again when I am back.

Positive: Self catering. The space and cleanliness. It would have been helpful to say that there is a Nesspresso machine so that people could bring pods with them.
Negative: For the price ( my friend has several holiday rental properties) we expected a starter pack of Tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter. There was only 1 tea towel provided and no dishcloth just a small sponge so very difficult to wipe surfaces after food preparation. There was no hot water on the evening we arrived and I did not get a response to my messages and phone call until 11am the next day which is very poor.. We had played golf and ended up having cold showers. The pillows were lumpy !! The parking spaces nearly clearly defining and labelling, a most objectionable and frightening owner of another apartment threatened to block us in if we didn't move our car as it was "his space". Quite frankly I could have left at that point . Another owner kept parking his car so that we were unable to utilise a space as there was not enough room for me to open the car door and a shed wall on the other side. So we ended up parking in an abstract fashion. The other owners clearly do not like tourists.The apartment is on a busy noisy main road. A file with tourist information would be helpful recommending restaurants, shops and things to do for non golfers( we are golfers). Only one of the nearby restaurants was open.
Summary: It served its purpose, nothing exceptional, felt it was overpriced .

Positive: Wonderful location. Wonderful and clean space. Got a video before that showed the street view and how to get in. Not being from this country it was super helpful.
Negative: My only suggestion would be to consider a no slip mat for the showers. They are awesome but they become super slick super quick!
